JASMINE
I was born in a barn, and my siblings and I were rescued at 6 weeks old. We weren't very friendly at first, but we're getting there. I love other cats, and love toys. We are working on the people thing. I do like when you hold me, and I purr and purr. But when I am loose to play in the office, I will hiss at foster mom when it's time to get picked up and go back in, so I do need a patient adopter who'll work on my "rough edges". But I'm a lovely little girl and quite forward and fearless. I was at the vet this week for my spay, and did fine, so I am just about ready to go home - yours, perhaps?

We are celebrating our 6th month anniversary with our pretty girl, Jasmine. Jasmine loves playing with her older brother, Romeo and big sister, Violet. <3
Jasmine is such a pretty girl. Hard to believe she is almost 1. She is still very shy, but we are working on it. All Mommy has to do is ask Jasmine if she wants treats and she comes running to her. <3

Ali is the best cat that I have ever met! What a fantastic personality. It is almost like he is human. Not long after we had him he was found to have both broken hips. He needed to undergo two different surgeries. It costed us $6000 but it was worth every penny. Poor buddy. We would do anything for him. But now he is bouncing off the walls and is following mama everywhere.

SAGE
I was brought into a shelter in a trap, having been born to a feral mom, with my 5 siblings. Meowmy spotted me and my sister, Tippie and said she'd take us home and care for us until we could get into Siamese Cat Rescue, and here I am!
I've been having a hard time with runny stools, but meowmy thinks that she finally has it getting better. I know I feel better and am eating all the good food she gives us.
We have some growing to do and vetting to get done, so we'll probably be here until around the middle of July, but if I suit your fancy, you can ask about me soon, and maybe I can be yours.

Sage, formerly known as pippa, is settling in nicely. She has made quick friends with my 3 yr old male cat. She still is unsure of my dog but she'll come around. She has really been a great addition to the household and I am grateful for everyone who helped get her here. Thank you.
I cannot belive it has been a full year since I picked up Sage. She is doing great, had her yearly vet check up a few weeks back and she got a clean bill of health. She was an immediate favorite of the girls who work at the vet. Sage gets along great with my other pets, jones(cat) and luca(dog). She is still a little skittish when it comes to new people, but is incredibly loving and affectionate with me. She has really been a great addtion to the household and I am very thankful for everyone who helped get her to me. I will add some pictures once I figure out how to do it.

Hello,
My name is Meem and this is my story. A few weeks ago I found myself lost and out on the streets looking for my family. Luckily for me a nice person saw me and took me to a local animal shelter where they knew I'd be safe from the roads and traffic. I waited patiently for someone to come and claim me, but sadly they never did. I didn't really like the shelter, it was noisy and I was scared and unhappy. Once my hold time was over I was taken by the Siamese Rescue and placed in a foster home. Slowly I began to adjust to my new situation and relaxed more and more each day. I'm a fairly tall and lanky boy. I have excellent litter tray habits. I'm affectionate and easy going. Looking for a new family to love me.

Hello! We've had Eli (née Meem) for a little over 6 months now, and we couldn't be happier. He is the perfect cat for us; the right amount of loving-cuddliness and bratty cat attitude. He greets us at the door when we get home (much a like a dog), cuddles with Greg when he watches TV, and cuddles with Amy's feet while we sleep every night. When we get home, he rolls over on his back, for his welcome-home belly rub. And he's very polite after he's been been given food (with a little Thank You headbump). Of course, he is a brat sometimes too. He knows he's not allows on the kitchen counter, and sometimes sneaks up on there when we're on the couch and then looks at us like, "Well, what are you going to do about it?" He also likes to be very vocal when he believes it's time for dinner (which is any time Amy opens a can of any variety in the kitchen). And he doesn't like it when we talk on the phone, which usually causes him to start batting us in the face with his tail! But at the end of the day, he always comes to cuddle us :)
He is so adorable an we love him to death. Thank you so much Siamese Cat Rescue! We have the perfect companion.

SMOKEY
Life just isn't always the "and he lived happily ever" after fairy tale ending. I had a home and was clearly loved, but my owner had to go to something called assisted living and I could not go. So I was given to his friend who kept me an entire two weeks before dumping me at a shelter. But things started to look up as Siamese rescue could see what a loving and handsome boy I am, so I ended up here with foster Mom. She said I was way too thin, and needed some TLC. Took me to the vet for my senior bloodwork and that is where it all started. My numbers were NOT good ones, so I had an abdominal ultrasound. That was abnormal but nothing obvious. And so we started me on fluids and antibiotics. Repeated bloodwork still strange. Consulted with another vet. Started me on prescription food, and fluids every other day. Repeated bloodwork just last week. And while my kidney numbers have stabilized, and I gained almost a pound in a month, there is still something that isnt right. And that makes foster mom very, very sad. Our foster moms promise us that life will be good again, but now Ive got some health issues of an unknown sort. Running more tests will be invasive, and may or may not tell us whats really wrong. And all I ask out of life is love, and a lap. I am the best lap sitter EVER, foster mom says. I am a really really good boy for my fluids, just ask foster mom! She calls me the best cat ever.
So here is the story. We dont know what is wrong with me, as clearly we dont know my history. I do have kidney compromise, but that often happens to cats my age and we are managing that very well with fluids and my prescription diet. The other things? Well, we just dont know. But that is true for all of us we cant tell what the future holds. Do you have a quieter home with no kitties or a nice kitty or two, and a lap just for me? Are you interested in providing a "happily ever after" for a guy who's future in unknown? If so, please ask foster mom about me, and we can share my bloodwork and test results with your vet.
Im a handsome boy, and its a nice day, so foster mom is going to get new pictures and a new movie of me today. Watch for that and be sure to hit that ask about me button.

Smokey is doing really well. His appetite has increased. He is the easiest cat I have ever given fluids to. LOVES sitting in the window and watching the deer we have across the street. Sleeps every night on the dresser in his bed. Even though the baby gates are down he doesn't venture far out of the room yet. He does however share the bed with Simon and Toby. He is a happy cat.

"Max" continues to be a big ball of adorableness and goofiness. He still loves to head but and make biscuits on Mom's chest..... I do have some health issues; I was just recently diagnosed with diabetes but am looking and feeling fine and I so enjoy my food that I don't even care that Mom is injecting me with insulin. My gum disease and chronic Bartonella led to me having to have most of my teeth removed but my mouth feels so much better now and I still eat any food I want without any difficulty!

Ohhh It's the good life, full of fun, seems to be the ideal, Yes, the good life, lets you hide all the sadness you feel..... Ladies and gentlemen! Behold - I have arrived. My foster mom named me Dolce Vita because thats what I deserve. A sweet life!
You can see by my picture, I am as adorable as it gets and stunning on top of that. A perfect little seal point gal. Life hasnt always been sweet though.
I have been homeless, I have had babies and have even been incarcerated yet even doing hard time hasnt hardened my heart. My spirits are high because foster mom knows that a sweet dispositioned girl like me will be fending off the suitors in no time.

Chloe is one happy kitty. She is the sweetest cat I've ever had (and I've had many) and just wants to be near my husband and me. We jokingly call her our "retired" kitty because she loves to rest, relax, and take it easy. My husband and I recently retired so we get it now, although we are much more active than she cares to be! As I write this she is lying beside me happily grooming herself.
She is a well loved kitty.

Meet the snuggliest cat on earth! I just can't get enough cuddles and petting, and I'm so soft you'll want to pet me forever.
You're probably wondering about my name: Yamaneko means Lynx in Japanese, a tribute to my beautiful points, which also give me my funny/sad looking eyes. And the shortened form, Neko has two meanings: Cat, but also Lucky, which describes me for being rescued and getting a chance at a wonderful new life with you!
I just arrived in foster care on Dec 31, so my foster mom will post more once I've had time to settle in and meet everyone. Meanwhile, enjoy my photos and video!

Emma has settled in nicely. Unfortunately she and Ivy, my little black DSH, have not become the friends I'd hoped they would be. They squabble a bit, but all I have to do is holler at them and they'll break it up. I'm also not sure how much of that is really a form of play. Emma will chase Ivy, but when she stops and turns away, Ivy will come and take a swipe at her as tho wanting to continue. I do feel comfortable leaving them alone together when I'm out.
For an older cat, Emma is surprisingly playful. She loves improvised toys, like an empty brown paper bag, box, empty pill bottle or toilet paper core. Tho she also plays with 'bought' toys that I'd gotten for Ivy or Trissa (my lost love), which neither of them were interested in. We have one of those 'crackle tunnels' that Emma also enjoys.
She's not quite the lap-lander that my beloved Trissa was, but for all that, if I settle down in the recliner or on the couch for a nap, she will often join me. She IS the snuggle kitty that I'd wanted, whom Ivy, alas, is not. (But Ivy is both beautiful and cute, and I love her for who she is. It's just that who she is, isn't who I thought she would be.)
I would note also that Emma's coat has filled out nicely, so she's a properly beautiful meezer now. Due to her background as an apparently long-time stray and then shelter cat, she looked just a bit scraggly when I got her, but good food, love and occasional brushing have done good things for her. I would count this adoption as a definite success!
