Bowie is the perfect combination of motor and playfulness. He's either cuddling with his parents or his brother or he is playing at a speed where he is barely visible to the human eye. He's wonderful.

I'm Ali - like the boxer. I'm young and friendly and oh, so active. I was found walking the streets of Philadelphia with a flea collar caught around my front leg, fostered by the fine group Project MEOW, and here I am in Siamese Rescue. In my former foster home I had other kitties to play with, and they kept me out of trouble. I'm nosey, I'm friendly, I'm athletic, I'm handsome, I'm young! What's not to love about all that, and all in one package? Get ready to ask about me. New pictures coming soon, and a movie too - I'll be the star of my very own reality show!

Ali is the best cat that I have ever met! What a fantastic personality. It is almost like he is human. Not long after we had him he was found to have both broken hips. He needed to undergo two different surgeries. It costed us $6000 but it was worth every penny. Poor buddy. We would do anything for him. But now he is bouncing off the walls and is following mama everywhere.

Looking for a love bug? That would be me - Diamond.

I absolutely love my buddy Valentine and am always cuddled up next to him. I've got plenty of love to share though and start purring for Foster Mom the minute I see her.

I'm feeling more comfortable in my new digs and have started to play with wand toys.
I'm a good eater and I'm a perfect lady in the litterbox. Foster Mom says that there's nothing not to love about me!

Diamond is such a Love! She purrs the minute you look at her! She loves to play with her Rooster Wand Toy that Foster Diane sent! She loves to scratch on the cat tree. She loves Valentine! Haven't been here a day yet - but she is purrfect!
11/10/12 - Settling into the Loft apt - Valentine and I are happy up high in the Sun. Don't really care to go out and meet those other cats - it's just fine in here!!
11/18/12 - Meowmy put a Christmas collar on me - I wasn't showing off those bells!!! They sounded pretty when I ran away when she tried to take it off!!
12/27/12 - When the Cat's Away - OH - I'm the Cat! When Meowmy's away - her bed is nice and warm and soft - I decided to crawl in - even put my head on the pillow! Valentine was with me but came out when Meowmy came in!
1/1/2013 - I AM the Queen! And I deserve to be comfortable - and warm - so the best place is Meowmy's place in bed!! Check out My Pic!
3/21/13 - What kind of place do I live in? I'm a beautiful Chocolate girl - not a Bunny! Meowmy thinks I'm Cute!??? See my pic - what do you think?
10/24/13 - What is Halloween? Valentine & I came home with Meowmy last year for Halloween - we weren't subjected to COSTUMES - and the Great Pumpkin yet! Very undignified for a Chocolate Point!
12/5/13 - Merry Christmas Everyone! Must say a much Happier Christmas than last year! I'm my own woman now - not a scaredy cat that jumped when Valentine said to! I look beautiful in my Christmas pic, too! Check it out!
1/6/14 - Happy New Year! Meowmy made unofficial Winter Millies for Valentine and Me - they are bigger so we both can fit in. See my pic in the Snowflake Millie - I got in after Dersie got out! Meowmy says Valentine and I are Yin-Yang - we even sleep that way sometimes! Valentine and I are sleeping in the snowflake millie now!
5/1/14: Relegated back to the floor - darn Dersie! Just because Valentine & I took her Heart millie on the table doesn't mean she can take the spot back in the Spring millie and make us sleep back on the floor in ours! We'll see how long this lasts! (see pic)
10/18/14: Time for Ghosts and Goblins! Got to be pretty this year. Meowmy got these outfits from Rikkiis - she says Margaritaville outfits! Mine has ribbons and netting and a big parrot on my shoulder! I'm Beauiful!! If this is wasting away, I'm for it!!
12/19/14: Merry Christmas Everyone! Meowmy took our annual Christmas pics - plus she bought me a sweater because I was cold - then decided that everyone should have one - HA HA - all my fault that they all got Power Outage Protection sweaters!! Happy New Year, too!!
10/30/15: HAPPY HALLOWEEN and Happy 3rd Anniversary with Meowmy! Can't believe 3 yrs have passed! I am a different cat! My costume represents my living in Meowmy's room (in my tower) most of the day! Love it actually! I'm much more sure of myself now! Have a voice, too! I've stolen Dersie's Pink color from her, too - even her pink Millie! Caleb doesn't scare me so much anymore either! I'm one loved little lady! Hope you have a Spookcatular Halloween!
12/21/15: Merry Christmas to All! Meowmy got a Beautiful Red Rose collar for me this year - aren't I beautiful! I've become braver lately - even sat next to Caleb on a cat pad last night! Will even go over and sniff him! Now I just have to get rid of Dersie!! Hope you have a Great Christmas!!
10/17/16: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Meowmy went easy on costumes this year - only had to wear this Witch Hat! Isn't it pretty! My coat is getting a little lighter now that I'm becoming a Southern Belle! I don't stay in Meowmy's room anymore - I stay in the living room now!!
12/14/16: MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Meowmy made a green necklace for Me and Dersie for our pics this year! I think I like the red better!! Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
7/25/17: Rest In Peace My Beloved Diamond. You were the Consummate Lady as well as Very Beautiful. You will always be in My Heart. I will cherish the many memories of my almost 5 years with you. You are now free of pain and no more meds. Be nice to Caleb when you see him. Valentine and I will be waiting to see you again. You will be missed very much.

I was brought into a shelter in a trap, having been born to a feral mom, with my 5 siblings. Meowmy spotted me and my sister, Tippie and said she'd take us home and care for us until we could get into Siamese Cat Rescue, and here I am!

I've been having a hard time with runny stools, but meowmy thinks that she finally has it getting better. I know I feel better and am eating all the good food she gives us.

We have some growing to do and vetting to get done, so we'll probably be here until around the middle of July, but if I suit your fancy, you can ask about me soon, and maybe I can be yours.

Sage, formerly known as pippa, is settling in nicely. She has made quick friends with my 3 yr old male cat. She still is unsure of my dog but she'll come around. She has really been a great addition to the household and I am grateful for everyone who helped get her here. Thank you.

I cannot belive it has been a full year since I picked up Sage. She is doing great, had her yearly vet check up a few weeks back and she got a clean bill of health. She was an immediate favorite of the girls who work at the vet. Sage gets along great with my other pets, jones(cat) and luca(dog). She is still a little skittish when it comes to new people, but is incredibly loving and affectionate with me. She has really been a great addtion to the household and I am very thankful for everyone who helped get her to me. I will add some pictures once I figure out how to do it.

My name is Meem and this is my story. A few weeks ago I found myself lost and out on the streets looking for my family. Luckily for me a nice person saw me and took me to a local animal shelter where they knew I'd be safe from the roads and traffic. I waited patiently for someone to come and claim me, but sadly they never did. I didn't really like the shelter, it was noisy and I was scared and unhappy. Once my hold time was over I was taken by the Siamese Rescue and placed in a foster home. Slowly I began to adjust to my new situation and relaxed more and more each day. I'm a fairly tall and lanky boy. I have excellent litter tray habits. I'm affectionate and easy going. Looking for a new family to love me.

Notes from Home
Hello! We've had Eli (née Meem) for a little over 6 months now, and we couldn't be happier. He is the perfect cat for us; the right amount of loving-cuddliness and bratty cat attitude. He greets us at the door when we get home (much a like a dog), cuddles with Greg when he watches TV, and cuddles with Amy's feet while we sleep every night. When we get home, he rolls over on his back, for his welcome-home belly rub. And he's very polite after he's been been given food (with a little Thank You headbump). Of course, he is a brat sometimes too. He knows he's not allows on the kitchen counter, and sometimes sneaks up on there when we're on the couch and then looks at us like, "Well, what are you going to do about it?" He also likes to be very vocal when he believes it's time for dinner (which is any time Amy opens a can of any variety in the kitchen). And he doesn't like it when we talk on the phone, which usually causes him to start batting us in the face with his tail! But at the end of the day, he always comes to cuddle us :)

He is so adorable an we love him to death. Thank you so much Siamese Cat Rescue! We have the perfect companion.

Foster Notes

Life just isn't always the "and he lived happily ever" after fairy tale ending. I had a home and was clearly loved, but my owner had to go to something called assisted living and I could not go. So I was given to his friend who kept me an entire two weeks before dumping me at a shelter. But things started to look up as Siamese rescue could see what a loving and handsome boy I am, so I ended up here with foster Mom. She said I was way too thin, and needed some TLC. Took me to the vet for my senior bloodwork and that is where it all started. My numbers were NOT good ones, so I had an abdominal ultrasound. That was abnormal but nothing obvious. And so we started me on fluids and antibiotics. Repeated bloodwork still strange. Consulted with another vet. Started me on prescription food, and fluids every other day. Repeated bloodwork just last week. And while my kidney numbers have stabilized, and I gained almost a pound in a month, there is still something that isnt right. And that makes foster mom very, very sad. Our foster moms promise us that life will be good again, but now Ive got some health issues of an unknown sort. Running more tests will be invasive, and may or may not tell us whats really wrong. And all I ask out of life is love, and a lap. I am the best lap sitter EVER, foster mom says. I am a really really good boy for my fluids, just ask foster mom! She calls me the best cat ever.

So here is the story. We dont know what is wrong with me, as clearly we dont know my history. I do have kidney compromise, but that often happens to cats my age and we are managing that very well with fluids and my prescription diet. The other things? Well, we just dont know. But that is true for all of us we cant tell what the future holds. Do you have a quieter home with no kitties or a nice kitty or two, and a lap just for me? Are you interested in providing a "happily ever after" for a guy who's future in unknown? If so, please ask foster mom about me, and we can share my bloodwork and test results with your vet.

Im a handsome boy, and its a nice day, so foster mom is going to get new pictures and a new movie of me today. Watch for that and be sure to hit that ask about me button.

Smokey is doing really well. His appetite has increased. He is the easiest cat I have ever given fluids to. LOVES sitting in the window and watching the deer we have across the street. Sleeps every night on the dresser in his bed. Even though the baby gates are down he doesn't venture far out of the room yet. He does however share the bed with Simon and Toby. He is a happy cat.

Hi!!! I'm Maximilian (aka Max)...please read over my check list to see if I'm the cat for you:

Friendly and affectionate?
Purrs, talks, headbutts, makes biscuits, etc?
Plays fetch?
Likes other cats?
Cute as a button?
check check check

Just so you know, I am not fond of riding in the car...so my transport area is somewhat limited. I also hate taking medicine and am a pretty demanding cat. If you are in the same room with me, I need, no, I DEMAND your attention.

Come here and let me knead you!!! That's right! Sit down, so I can hop up on your lap!

"Max" continues to be a big ball of adorableness and goofiness. He still loves to head but and make biscuits on Mom's chest..... I do have some health issues; I was just recently diagnosed with diabetes but am looking and feeling fine and I so enjoy my food that I don't even care that Mom is injecting me with insulin. My gum disease and chronic Bartonella led to me having to have most of my teeth removed but my mouth feels so much better now and I still eat any food I want without any difficulty!

Ohhh It's the good life, full of fun, seems to be the ideal, Yes, the good life, lets you hide all the sadness you feel..... Ladies and gentlemen! Behold - I have arrived. My foster mom named me Dolce Vita because thats what I deserve. A sweet life!

You can see by my picture, I am as adorable as it gets and stunning on top of that. A perfect little seal point gal. Life hasnt always been sweet though.

I have been homeless, I have had babies and have even been incarcerated yet even doing hard time hasnt hardened my heart. My spirits are high because foster mom knows that a sweet dispositioned girl like me will be fending off the suitors in no time.

So come on then. Go ahead. Inquire about me and lets see how sweet your life, with me in it, can be.

Chloe is one happy kitty. She is the sweetest cat I've ever had (and I've had many) and just wants to be near my husband and me. We jokingly call her our "retired" kitty because she loves to rest, relax, and take it easy. My husband and I recently retired so we get it now, although we are much more active than she cares to be! As I write this she is lying beside me happily grooming herself.
She is a well loved kitty.

Meet the snuggliest cat on earth! I just can't get enough cuddles and petting, and I'm so soft you'll want to pet me forever.
You're probably wondering about my name: Yamaneko means Lynx in Japanese, a tribute to my beautiful points, which also give me my funny/sad looking eyes. And the shortened form, Neko has two meanings: Cat, but also Lucky, which describes me for being rescued and getting a chance at a wonderful new life with you!
I just arrived in foster care on Dec 31, so my foster mom will post more once I've had time to settle in and meet everyone. Meanwhile, enjoy my photos and video!

Notes from Home
Emma has settled in nicely. Unfortunately she and Ivy, my little black DSH, have not become the friends I'd hoped they would be. They squabble a bit, but all I have to do is holler at them and they'll break it up. I'm also not sure how much of that is really a form of play. Emma will chase Ivy, but when she stops and turns away, Ivy will come and take a swipe at her as tho wanting to continue. I do feel comfortable leaving them alone together when I'm out.
For an older cat, Emma is surprisingly playful. She loves improvised toys, like an empty brown paper bag, box, empty pill bottle or toilet paper core. Tho she also plays with 'bought' toys that I'd gotten for Ivy or Trissa (my lost love), which neither of them were interested in. We have one of those 'crackle tunnels' that Emma also enjoys.
She's not quite the lap-lander that my beloved Trissa was, but for all that, if I settle down in the recliner or on the couch for a nap, she will often join me. She IS the snuggle kitty that I'd wanted, whom Ivy, alas, is not. (But Ivy is both beautiful and cute, and I love her for who she is. It's just that who she is, isn't who I thought she would be.)
I would note also that Emma's coat has filled out nicely, so she's a properly beautiful meezer now. Due to her background as an apparently long-time stray and then shelter cat, she looked just a bit scraggly when I got her, but good food, love and occasional brushing have done good things for her. I would count this adoption as a definite success!

Notes from Home
May 7, 2015 - Moony is settling in very well. We have her in her own room and she was willing to come out and eat with us in the room (at the other end) by the end of the first night. By the next morning, she would come out with some coaxing and purr up a storm when we petted her. Last night she started looking like she wanted to play rather than just get attention. I tossed a toy and she pounced on it, I tossed it again and she pounced on it, wrestled, kicked, then carried it off with her. Today we introduced her to a toy on a string on a wand. She LOVED it and when I took it away after a few minutes she spent the next several minutes systematically searching the room for that toy. She seems to not at all be bothered by the trains passing by or the comments from the other cats on the other side of the door. We don't want to introduce them until we get her checked and get everyone's claws trimmed.

May 17, 2015 - We are experimenting with different names for 'Moony'. She was very well behaved at the vet visit and was up to 6.4 lbs. We have been transitioning her to the food that the boys eat and there seems to be no GI distress. She has settled into her room VERY well. We have let her loose in the house (with the boys locked up and after several hours she was curled up on the clean laundry taking a bath. We have started face-to-face introductions. The first one didn't go well (Touchstone got terrified and I got scratched in his eagerness to get out of town. However, since then things have gone well. She and Feste have gotten the closest and while she warns him to not come too close if he is looking at her. When he isn't looking at her she will approach him. This morning she jumped over the cat tree (on its side for now) to land about 8 inches from him. He looked a little startled but other than that didn't really react. If she hisses, he will hiss back but his posture is very calm. Hers is fairly calm as well she just doesn't want him looking at her from too close a space and he is giving her that space. Touchstone is staying about 8-10 feet back watching with interest. She is very demanding of attention when we are in there with her alone and is starting to want some attention when the door is open. We are still separating them when we aren't at home and today is the first time we are letting them together without one of us right there to watch though I am keeping my ears open.

May 20, 2015 - the 3 cats are now fully integrated. The most worried of the existing cats was playing with one of his favorite toys this morning. She and Feste are getting close to each other and trying to figure out how to play. She ended up taking control of the toy-on-a-string session last night. She is comfortable enough with the boys to turn her back on them to take a bath and comes waltzing through the doorway around them (though she will accelerate a bit). She has been running all over the house and really playing with the various toys when we throw them for her. She is learning our routines and setting herself up for meeting us where we can pet her or play with her as we do things. When my Mom came to let her out a couple of days ago she was willing to play with Mom as well.

June 2, 2015 - The 3 cats are becoming very well integrated. Chris & I were on vacation and my Mom cat-sat for us. 'Moony' quickly learned that Mom had the same rules we do (it rains in the bathroom, it rains if you try to get to our food). She started doing lap sitting with Mom and really latched onto her. To the point that she would shove one of the boys out of the way if Mom was petting them. She and Feste are starting to really play with each other. There is still the occasional hiss to indicate desire for personal space but that is all. She is incredibly athletic and creative in her play (I've never seen any cat bunny-kick a cat tree while climbing the trunk).

June 22, 2015 - the 3 cats are very well integrated now. I have seen some play behavior in all of the 2-cat permutations. Touchstone took the longest but he is now willing to hunker & pounce toward her face (quick paw to the forehead then sit and look). We had some visitors on Friday afternoon and all three came out to say howdy and 'Moony' put on quite a show playing with toys and running around. She has really learned our routines and sets herself up as toll-keeper to insist on attention at strategic locations and times.

November 2015 - we are sticking with the new name we came up with "Schlau Mau" aka clever cat. She is very clever and thinks things through. She has a routine where I am expected to worship her when I come out from taking my middle of the night medication. I can now trim the claws on one complete paw before she says "enough". She is sleeping on the bed with the boys but not in a heap (yet) and it is hard to believe we have only had this wonderful little girl for 6 months.

March 2016 - She is getting more and more comfortable with us and demanding of attention. I have seen her exchange a quick lick with Touchstone. She is often sleeping on the bed with me (though not against me). We still regularly see all combinations of a pair of the cats (and occasionally all three) go flying by.

May 2017 - Schlau (FKA Moony) has really come into her own. She was a champ at the vet for her check-up. She has quite a few routines that she regularly requests our participation in (morning toss the ball up to the landing so she can chase it down, get petted while at the computer. She is still a bit shy about attention if she isn't already sitting/lying down. However she is starting to sit down to get the scratching she loves. She is starting to be much more comfortable with being picked up and letting me mess with her mouth in preparation for training her for teeth brushing. She is being a bit nervy but improving about her claw trimming. Finding the correct treat to motivate her helped a lot.

July 2017 - Schlau is getting more into the routine of teeth. She doesn't like the brush but is letting me use it briefly. She is into the Greenies enough that she is now first in line for me to do tooth related things. She is also sometimes setting on my chest for a snuggle and staying for quite awhile (20 minutes). She and the boys are still taking turns chasing each other and she is very clear on which toys are HERS.
