JACK
A pair of bonded declawed brothers, we're looking for a quieter home, no kids or dogs, where we can stretch our paws and not be afraid of the dog and the kids in our previous home. While we were well loved and cared for, we spent most of our time hiding in the bedroom, so look forward to just you and us together. A little patience and we'll be lovely!

Notes from Home
Norm has settled in fairly well. He is a very curious and talkative guy. But after awhile, he does seem to be whining more than talking. It often seems to be for more attention, boredom, and I don’t know what. He will walk around my apt meowing at everything—the door, the bathroom, the kitchen. Hard to tell if that’s just his personality.
While he is more outgoing and braver than Jack, he has periods when he will go off and hide.
Jack is still very timid and hides a fair amount of the time. During the last month, he has become braver and comes out looking for attention, play time, and lap time. He now will sleep with me for bit. He paws at the covers, and then flops down next to me.
However, if I go to pet Jack in the “wrong way†he backs away or if I move towards him, he runs away almost if he is afraid of me. Norm will do this as well, but to a much lesser degree. I maybe very wrong about this, but in my experience, cats that have this kind of behavior have often been abused. I would certainly like to get you take on this.
Also, these 2 brothers aren’t really buddies and don’t have much to do with each other. They have at least one fight a day that I see and break up.
The good news is their appetites, especially Jack’s, has improved. Since they are both so skinny, I have increased the amount of wet food from half a can to ¾ of can twice a day. They love the Fancy Feast, but I wonder if FF is good for them in the long run.
All in all, they are sweet and affectionate cats. I’m still having a hard time telling them apart.

MADDIE
Hmmm, am I a lynx or a tortie? My tortie shows on one ear and I have color in my tail. Otherwise I look pretty darn lynxy!
I'm a sweet little kitten and am respectful of the other cats here. All systems go (eating, drinking, litter boxing).
Ask about me and see if we might be mates!
Love,

I am having trouble with this update. I keep loosing it. I have changed Stormy to Maddie and she is responding well. Dusty and Maddie are great friends and spend a lot of time with each other. She lets me pet her most of the time and she gets in my lap once in a while, but she still won't let me pick her up. This was especially disturbing when trying to evacuate for Irma. She even bit me when I tried to put her in the carrier. I am trying to train her to the carrier by placing food in it, and it seems to be working somewhat. Any suggestions on picking her up or getting her in the carrier would be greatly appreciated. I will sign off since I don't want to loose this . Thanks Bill

RALPHIE
Hi there!
I was a bit scared and shy when I first got here but Meowmy loved on me and snuggled with me and I liked it! Now I use my big meezer voice to ger her attention for more when she comes into the foster room. She thinks I'm going to live up to the reputation all male flame boys have and grow up to be a laid back loving fellow. Does that sound like something you'd like to have around your home for a long time?
If so ask about me and maybe that can happen. Meowmy said to be sure to check your spam and junk folder the first time you inquire in case her response lands up in there.
Purrs,
Ralphie (Ralph mouth lol)

We've had the little guy almost 2 weeks now. He's a super little cat. He is best friends with my 17 pound DLH boy Bugs. They play together all the time. Intregration is complete with only slight hissing from Maggie May & OC. He is getting over his shyness. He love love loves his toys. He's eatting well & using his litter box. Thank you Siamese Rescue & especially Jeanne B for saving this special little boy.
Little Ralph mouth is doing great. He has fit in so well with the rest of the crew. He plays plays & plays. He can be seen carrying around all different toys in his mouth. He's growing like a weeed. He's a long lean guy. He is so in love with 2 of his brothers. He stays clear of the diva Maggie May most of the time. He wants to be friends with everybody.
1/31/12
Ralphie is growing like a weed. He's such a super cute little boy. He loves everybody & has even won over Miss Diva (Maggie May). He is very entertaining playing with all his toys & anything else he can carry around in his mouth. He screams when wants attention. Just a great little man.
9/27/12
Ralphie has been here a year today. Wow does time fly. He's such a great cat. He loves all things cats even if they don't care about him. He has grown up into a beautiful boy. He still loves his toys and leaves them everywhere thru out the house. We are so happy he has found his forever home with us. Thank you Siamese Rescue for saving such a wonderful cat.
9/27/13 Wow 2 years has gone by fast. Ralphie is just a super super boy. He gets along well with everyone. He continues to be a little shy but has discovered he has a voice. I guess its more of a scream. We are so so in love with this boy. Thank you Siamese Rescue for saving this boy and allowing us to adopt him. A special thank you to his foster Mom Jeanne B. I just cannot say enough great things about SCRC. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization.
9/27/14
3 years already. Ralphie is a sweet shy guy. He loves chicken so we are able to pet him. We so love our sweet boy. Hopefully we will have many more years with him. He loves his Millie bed and all kinds of toys
9/27/15
Where has 4 years gone. Ralphie has grown up into a super guy. He is still shy at times but have a piece of chicken and he is your best friend. He still loves his millie bed and his heated bed. If another cat gets in his bed he stares at them until they get out. Too funny. He is still best buds with his big brother Bugs. Yep we love him to pieces. Thank you Jeanne B for letting me adopt him and be his Mom. Thanks to SCRC for saving him and bringing him into our lives.
9/27/16
Its hard to believe we have had Ralphie 5 years. He is still doing great. Still a little shy but loves being petted. He is a big boy not fat at 14 pounds. Not the 3 pound baby we brought home. I cannot say enough great things about SCRC. Thank you for saving this wonderful guy & allowing him to come into our lives. Thanks also to Jeanne B for the great care she gave him prior to his adoption.
9/27/17
Oh my 6 years already. It's hard to believe it's been that long. Ralphie is doing great still a little shy but really loves attention. He is still very bonded to his Turkish angora brother Bugs. They play & chase each other. He still loves his Millie beds & in cooler weather he likes the heated bed. Thank you SCRC & Jeanne B for allowing this great guy into our home. 😻

Notes from Home
Haida is a funny, playful 4 and a half year old kitten. Her agility is amazing - roars around the house as fast as she can go. I should have named her Roary Paws!!! She will sit on my lap for just a few minutes, but will sit for much longer when being brushed with that marvelous rubber wide toothed brush. I love this little torti to bits!!
11/29/11
I have renamed Haida, Cocoa Bean!! That is who she is, and what a little character she is turning into!! Amazing at the age of 4 and 1/2 how playful and energetic she is! She is not a lap sitter, but will sit on my lap to be brushed with that wonderful rubber toothed brush from the Rescue. That she enjoys immensely. She loves to play hide in the bathtub, then shoot out, take an 8 ft. leap onto the bed, bounce across it and leap to the floor to zoom back into the tub and start all over again. Fun!!! She has certainly brought life to this house!! Cocoa Bean does sleep with me and as time goes by, she is getting closer and closer to my head and lets me hug her. I think she is very intelligent, and has learned the rules of the house very quickly - mainly not getting up on the stove (danger) and/or the kitchen counters. Other than that, she has the rest of the house to explore and play in.
I am so very glad that Cocoa Bean has come to me, she seems sent straight from heaven.
9/20/12
My name has been changed to Cocoa Bean - - about 1 month after I came to my forever home, my wonderful fun antics caused Meowm to start calling me jumping Bean, but that didn't suit either and because of my coloring I ended up Cocoa Bean.
My favorite thing to do here, is race as fast as my legs and feet will go, and then leap up onto the bed, take two more flying leaps, jump to the floor and race all around upstairs and then as fast as I can go, head downstairs. Meowm keeps telling me that one day she thinks I'm going to crash into a wall - - but I assure her that I really won't.
Meowm also calls me her clown cat - apparently my back legs seem to do a dance when I race - she ends up laughing. My other favorite game is to race as fast as possible across the kitchen floor and land on my wonderful carpeted tunnel - - - - it slides and I go with it. Meowm says she thinks I could ride a surf board and I bet I could!!!
I'm still eating my Wilderness Salmon food that I love, and my weight at my yearly check up was 10 and 1/2 lbs., so I have just put on about 1/2 lb. in the past year, and lovely Dr. Nancy Handley says I am the purrfect size. She is surprised that at my age (don't tell anyone) 5 years old, that I am still so kittenish - I think I will always be this way - - it's fun!!
Meowm also thinks I am the smartest pussy cat that she has ever had, and she has had cats all her life - but never a Siamese - so she thinks that explains my cleverness. Oh yes, I also like to play hide and seek!! What a grand time we have!!! I hide, then Meowm hides, then I come flying out and find her and scare the dickens out of her!!!
I like to sit on her lap for a little while - maybe 3 - 5 minutes - - last year I would only stay for a few seconds. When Mewom is really good I give her a few kisses and twice little love nibbles - - but that's only when she has been really really good.
Meowm says she is so very glad that I waited for her to come and get me and bring me to this safe and happy home. She says life wouldn't be the same without me here to talk to her and greet her at the door, and when the doorbell rings to run and make sure that who is there is OK to open the door to. I like to say hello to all our visitors and check them out.
Well, I could go on and on, but I think from this email that you can see that I am happy as a lark here, and there are lots of birds and squirrels to watch out the doors and windows. There is a cat that lives next door who comes to visit once in awhile and I have to keep a sharp eye out for him - - he is not allowed on my property!!
I hope all the dear pussy cats that are waiting for forever homes, find one like I did. That would make me very happy.
Give Siri my very best wishes (but I'm so glad I'm not still there), and anyone else who might have known me in my past life. And thank you for all you did for me.
With purrs and meows, (happy ones)
Cocoa Bean S

Hi Siamese Rescue,
My name for the past 4 years has been and still is, Cocoa Bean. My Meowm thinks I am so active, really like a jumping bean, that Cocoa Bean (my color) suited me better.
Can't believe that I am 9 years old (young) now, and my wonderful doctor is also amazed at how energetic and playful I am. It is such fun to roar around the house, making my usually quiet feet as noisy and thumpy as I can!
So - - - thank goodness you all found me and took me in, and that my Meowm came and brought me home so that I am so very safe and so very loved and I love her and the interesting and fun people that come to visit me.
Have a good and happy year,
Cocoa Bean Simmel
9/24/16
Hi Kathi,
Thank you for the birthday wishes! Can't believe that I'm 10 years old and have been at my forever home
for 5 years now. Time does fly, and so do I every so often in my home and I know every nick and cranny
and the hairpin turns that Meowm thinks I still might knock myself silly or break a leg - - but - - I'm Siamese
and as you know we are the most agile of all the felines. So it is fun to thump around and sound like an
elephant upstairs when everyone know I'm as light on my 4 feet as a butterfly when I want to be!
I'm very glad and happy that I chose my Meowm and this home - it has been wonderful, and I have found
tricks to get Meowm out of bed EARLY in the morning when my food bowl is empty. but I think my
person has caught on and now makes sure there is enough food for me for all night before she goes to bed.
We hope that all is well at the Siamese center. What a life saver it is for so many of us lost or orphaned four
footed fur friends.
Wendy (Meowm) and Cocoa Bean. Puuurrrs and chirps.
8/26/17
Hard to believe Cocoa Bean has been my dear little furry four footed companion for six years!! Time has flown.
Ms. CB is doing extremely well - still flys around the house, upstairs, down, back up, down, jumps on her tunnel and surfs kitchen floor with happy tail in the air. She is a super healthy cat, and certainly does not act her age, which I think is eleven!! I also think she is the most intelligent cat I have ever had, and I have always had a cat. She does astound me with her ability to remember, seems to be able to anticipate what I'm going to be doing, knows the sounds for everything that interests her, and appears as if by magic.
She is a dear little companion, and more like a dog than cat - greets people at the door, likes dogs not cats and insists that guests in the house pay attention to HER.
Am so very glad that CB came here to live - don't know what I would do without her.
Thank you Siamese Cat Rescue!!!

SAMURA
Hi! I arrived here on July 14th after having right rear leg amputated. I was found in the street with a badly injured leg, and try as she might, the vet couldn't save it. I'm healing well and already learned to maneuver around. I never miss my litter box and can chase after the big kitties here when she lets me out on the floor to run.
I'd love to have another kitten or young cat to play with, and meowmy said it should be a boy kitty. Meowmy said I need a month to heal before I can be spayed so it will probably be around August 27th before I'll be ready to go home.
Don't let my missing leg scare you off. I'm perfect in every way and just a bit special, but I'm not ever going to let that stop me. So ask about me and maybe I can be your "special" kitty!
Purrs,
Samora or Sammie for short.

Notes from Home
Hi Pat,
Things are great. Samura is settling in nicely. She was timid when she first got here. She has become quite a cuddle bug. She is always purring and wants to be patted. She loves Haden the other kitten we adopted. They play and chase each other all over the house. She is being treated for conjunctivitis which is clearing nicely. Haden had a URI when he came so we were lucky that she only got an eye infection. We just love her! So happy we chose her. such a lovey!
Hi Pat,
Samura is doing wonderful. She loves her new home. She is such a lovey. She loves to cuddle but not especially held. She follows us around wherever we are. She eats REALLY well. She even lets me brush her teeth. She loves her mate Haden. They settled in so well right from the start. She is still a little shy when she hears someone coming in but after a fashion she comes out to investigate. If she knows you she is fine. My Grandsone loves them both. We couldn't be happier.
Hi Pat,
Samura is wonderful! Both cats just had their annual checkup and she is doing great. three legs has not slowed her down one bit. we are so happy we made the decision to adopt her. She is still skiddish when she hears the doors open until she know who's here. she loves to be patted and sits with us all the time. we just love her! Sept. 25,2017

Notes from Home
Willa is fitting in nicely. She and Edgar chase and wrestle throughout the day (morning and evening being the best times). They also take turns attacking their two biggest "enemies" - a piece of ribbon and the dot from the laser pointer.
Food wise she's doing fine. We found a wet food she likes, so she gets that twice a day. We also have Purina Pro Plan out for her all day. She was throwing up hairballs 1-2 times a week, but that's dropped to 1-2 times a month since we switched to hairball control food. She's been perfect with using the litterbox since we got her.
All in all she's fit in quite well, and we love having her.
September 23, 2017: Willa recently had her three year anniversary with us so we wanted to post an update. She is doing very, very well! She is still a shy girl, but she has bonded with us and is very loving. She is good friends with our black cat, Edgar, and has begun being friends with our most recent adoptee, Simon. She has really come out of her shell over the last three years, and while she is still skittish with strangers, she is incredibly affectionate with us.

SIMON
Stunningly handsome, seal point Meezer with a gentle manner and desire to be close to his purrson.
Simon loves to sleep on the bed and cuddle next to you at night. He is playful and active during the day - enjoys exploring closets and under beds.
Was surrendered by owners that did not appreciate his intensity and curiosity. He is fearful of being grabbed and somewhat shy about being picked up so I sense he may have been roughly treated in the past.
His soft, rumbling purr will delight and he will answer in his squeaky Meezer voice when you call him.
A seriously nice boy who is non-dominant and not aggressive to other cats. He is not a fighter and could be bullied by other cats. He would do very well with respectful children but would probably be afraid in an very busy or noisy home.

Notes from Home
Simon has been settling in quickly. He spent his first week in one of our spare bedrooms as his sanctuary space and quickly discovered both the cat bed and the human bed in that room! We started letting him explore parts of the house over the weekend and he has begun getting to know our other two cats. He is incredibly gentle with us and the other two cats, and everyone is starting to get friendly with one another. He is truly a sweetheart. He only does his Siamese meow when he's ready for his breakfast wet food in the morning!
9/23/17: Simon has continued to settle in beautifully with our two other cats! He has the full run of the house and has explored all the nooks and crannies. He is very active and playful and is already playing with the other cats, chasing them around the first floor, and playing with toy mice and glitter balls. When he's not napping, he likes to spend time with whatever human is home and is particularly fond of our human bed. Simon is a wonderful cat and is transitioning to his new home so well. We are thrilled with his progress and are so glad we could give him a good home.
