I am one Wild Child!!! Woohoo!! I'm ready to pounce and bounce and race and chase and drive you all a bit crazy! I definitely need someone to play with - like a super playful woofer maybe? If a cat, they had better be able to rock with the punches, cuz my middle name is Spitfire! Aunt Siri is definitely NOT checking laid back on my profile!!!!

Notes from Home
Sophie is settling in nicely. She and our male snowshoe Po enjoy running around the house playing tag, and she loves to chew on his tail when he's looking the other way. She's still not sure about "pets" and she hasn't really found her purr yet, but I think with time she'll come around to us silly humans.

DUKE
Playful, inquisitive...ok so foster Mom calls it nosy, but I don't think that's fair. After all, I'm a kitten and we're supposed to get into everything, right? I will follow you around everywhere, talking to you in my adorable tiny kitten voice. Foster Mom wonders if I'll have a big Meezer meow when I grow up. I say you choose me and we'll find out together. I love to play, so make sure you have some toys for me, any toys will do.

Duke is loving his new home and we all love him! He has a 🐶 named Chavo to play with and blame when he makes a mess. During the day he enjoys looking out the window while hanging out on his cat tree. He also loves any toy, especially with feathers (thanks Joy!). At night, the family hangs out in the living room where both Duke and Chavo compete to be the cutest pet of all time. At 10pm, Duke is ready for bed (his plush cat bed on top of our bed). The next day, he wakes me up promptly at 5 am to snuggle on my chest and neck, purring his little heart out till I have to get up and playtime begins! We are so happy Duke was able to join our family!

Notes from Home
Hi Andrea and Siri,
Cosmo continues to do great! He is fully adjusted in his new home and plays a lot with Benny, our little Jack Russell. He loves it when Benny licks his ears. Ha! He is so funny and is with us just about everywhere we go. Cosmo is still a little overstimulated, but it is not a problem. When he lets us know that he is done or has had enough play, we give him his room. Cosmo has won our hearts and is very comfortable with us. He has very good litter box habits, but we've had to put up his food bowl and just feed him a couple of times a day. He seems as if he does not know when to stop eating. He continues on the Blue Buffalo weight management cat food. The vet has recommended us to just not leave his food bowl down and feed him a couple of times per day. He loves to lay on our lap next to Benny. Cosmo is a Big Lover, but it has to be on his own terms. His favorite place is the basement and continues to carry things up from the basement to play with. We Love Cosmo and will provide him with many years of health and happiness.
Thank You for pairing us up with Cosmo.
Again, I want to Thank You both for helping us to adopt the "Perfect" cat for us.

P.S. I will try to see if I can get some pictures uploaded soon, but am not to tech savy...Ha!

We Love Him Very Much.
Anita & Randy

FLASH
Who could resist my adorable face and big ears?? If you ask about me you'll learn I'm the perfect combination of kitten playfulness and cuddly cat. I love attention and will purr and purr and purr to let you know that! My foster mom can't wait to tell you more about me!

Notes from Home
Flash is the sweetest little guy! We are so lucky to have him! He is funny and adorable! I will upload some pics of this sweetheart. We haven't decided whether we want to keep the name Flash, but will in the next day or so...we are just enjoying him and letting him run the house!

Rambeau, as we have chosen to name him...mostly for his attack techniques (like Rambo)...he's way cute, playful and loving. He likes to hide behind a wall and jump out. He loves to play with certain toys (and he's lost quite a few of his favorites already...we have backups!) He loves to sleep with mom and dad and is looking forward to meeting his new sister.

On our boy's one month anniversary with us, he's been an absolute doll baby! We love him to pieces. He's loving, affectionate and playful! he loves his mom and dad and looks forward to playtime! He also loves to sleep with his parents although he's got several beds of his own. He loves the Bay and Picture Windows and looks way cute sitting in them! He's loved more than any cat in the world! :)

Every day is a new adventure with Beau...he continues to amaze us with his intelligence! He loves to play, but takes time out for his daily brushing, loving and hugging. He's not only beautiful, but he's very smart. I think he even imitates our voices when we talk to him.

It's our 6 month anniversary with our boy, Rambeau a/k/a Beau! He is a sweetheart with a little bit of devil in him. While he loves his little sister, Bella, one moment he's grooming her, the next minute he's got her flat on her back wrestling with her. Beau likes to be cuddled and loved on his terms, loves to play and carry on and race through the house. He doesn't like the fact that our daughter moved out of the house (she misses him also), as her room was his hang out in the evening until about 9:00 then he moves into our bedroom with mommee and daddee. Beau could not be more loved anywhere. His personality is truly unique. Beau loves his cat tower and loves his sisters cat tower as well and believes everything is his. I submitted his picture for the calendar contest because he is super photogenic!

An update on Beau - he's doing extremely well. He can't be loved anymore than what he is. He is lavished with attention and he loves it. He loves to be brushed, loves his new sister and loves his window perch. He has shared his toys with Brie and loves the toys she brought with her. He's shared his two towers...one of which is now Brie's. He's hoping his pic with his Santa hat gets chosen for the 2017 Siamese Rescue Calendar!

Our little boy continues to do well. He loves to play with his little sister and they do tire each other out! They both love to be brushed. Hoping to hear about his pic for the calendar contest soon.

Well tomorrow is one year since I flew to Indianapolis to pick up our little boy, Rambeau. He has grown into the most beautiful flame point I've ever seen and has such a wonderful loving personality! He loves his 5 month old lynx point sister very much. He is truly an amazingly intelligent sweetheart!

I've added a current picture of our boy along with his sister, Gabriella (Brie)
It's been two years since we adopted Beau and him and I flew from Indianapolis to his forever home here in New Jersey! He continues to be loved and spoiled and is in excellent Health! He still acts like a little kitten and is very sociable with anyone he meets. He watches over his little sister and they play well together. He is loved!

TORO
A lovely older chocolate point, I was found wandering on the roads back in March and it has taken me quite some time to be pulled together. I battle stomatitis, a gum condition that necessitates wet food only and some OTC supplements mixed in my food. All my teeth are gone so you have no dental work in my future; all you can expect is some great love and a lot of lap sitting. I'm fine with other cats as long as they are middle of the road - no victim cats as I might be too pushy for them, no bully cats as I might shrink back. I feel pretty much the same way about dogs. But you? Oooooh I really want a very loving forward kissy faced person please!

Notes from Home
Toro is the sweetest lovebug that I could ever imagine. His favorite places are someones lap or on his heated blanket that we move around the house for him during the day. He charms everyone he meets and has found his favorite places to nap in our home. He loves following Sunny around the house while we are doing chores and has begun to face his biggest fear of all - the vacuum cleaner. We have found that Toro LOVES wet food that is gravy based and now he eats his food in one sitting rather than slowly throughout the day. He has put on weight and his vet commented that he was a healthy cat. His gums still show some signs of irritation, but it has not hindered his ability to eat. If they are still red during his next check up in March we will take some x-rays to see if there's anything left behind from the surgery that's still agitating them. Overall, Toro is a happy cat who would love any owners he had, we're just lucky it's Sunny and me!

Toro has continued to be the best kitty in the whole world! He is so popular amongst our friends and his only fault is that he likes to wake me up way too early in the morning every once in a while (5am)! He is a lovebug who is attentive every afternoon when I get home and will find a spot to cuddle up next to me on the couch while I do work from home. Toro has his favorite foods and even some treats he enjoys! We have to put some extra water in his food to make sure that he is always getting enough fluids. Toro can change any "dog person" into a cat lover!

NORM
A pair of bonded declawed brothers, we're looking for a quieter home, no kids or dogs, where we can stretch our paws and not be afraid of the dog and the kids in our previous home. While we were well loved and cared for, we spent most of our time hiding in the bedroom, so look forward to just you and us together. A little patience and we'll be lovely!

Notes from Home
Norm has settled in fairly well. He is a very curious and talkative guy. But after awhile, he does seem to be whining more than talking. It often seems to be for more attention, boredom, and I don’t know what. He will walk around my apt meowing at everything—the door, the bathroom, the kitchen. Hard to tell if that’s just his personality.

While he is more outgoing and braver than Jack, he has periods when he will go off and hide.

Jack is still very timid and hides a fair amount of the time. During the last month, he has become braver and comes out looking for attention, play time, and lap time. He now will sleep with me for bit. He paws at the covers, and then flops down next to me.

However, if I go to pet Jack in the “wrong way” he backs away or if I move towards him, he runs away almost if he is afraid of me. Norm will do this as well, but to a much lesser degree. I maybe very wrong about this, but in my experience, cats that have this kind of behavior have often been abused. I would certainly like to get you take on this.

Also, these 2 brothers aren’t really buddies and don’t have much to do with each other. They have at least one fight a day that I see and break up.

The good news is their appetites, especially Jack’s, has improved. Since they are both so skinny, I have increased the amount of wet food from half a can to ¾ of can twice a day. They love the Fancy Feast, but I wonder if FF is good for them in the long run.

All in all, they are sweet and affectionate cats. I’m still having a hard time telling them apart.

MADDIE
Hmmm, am I a lynx or a tortie? My tortie shows on one ear and I have color in my tail. Otherwise I look pretty darn lynxy!

I'm a sweet little kitten and am respectful of the other cats here. All systems go (eating, drinking, litter boxing).

Ask about me and see if we might be mates!

Love,

Kimmie

I am having trouble with this update. I keep loosing it. I have changed Stormy to Maddie and she is responding well. Dusty and Maddie are great friends and spend a lot of time with each other. She lets me pet her most of the time and she gets in my lap once in a while, but she still won't let me pick her up. This was especially disturbing when trying to evacuate for Irma. She even bit me when I tried to put her in the carrier. I am trying to train her to the carrier by placing food in it, and it seems to be working somewhat. Any suggestions on picking her up or getting her in the carrier would be greatly appreciated. I will sign off since I don't want to loose this . Thanks Bill

RALPHIE
Hi there!

I was a bit scared and shy when I first got here but Meowmy loved on me and snuggled with me and I liked it! Now I use my big meezer voice to ger her attention for more when she comes into the foster room. She thinks I'm going to live up to the reputation all male flame boys have and grow up to be a laid back loving fellow. Does that sound like something you'd like to have around your home for a long time?
If so ask about me and maybe that can happen. Meowmy said to be sure to check your spam and junk folder the first time you inquire in case her response lands up in there.

Purrs,

Ralphie (Ralph mouth lol)

We've had the little guy almost 2 weeks now. He's a super little cat. He is best friends with my 17 pound DLH boy Bugs. They play together all the time. Intregration is complete with only slight hissing from Maggie May & OC. He is getting over his shyness. He love love loves his toys. He's eatting well & using his litter box. Thank you Siamese Rescue & especially Jeanne B for saving this special little boy.
Little Ralph mouth is doing great. He has fit in so well with the rest of the crew. He plays plays & plays. He can be seen carrying around all different toys in his mouth. He's growing like a weeed. He's a long lean guy. He is so in love with 2 of his brothers. He stays clear of the diva Maggie May most of the time. He wants to be friends with everybody.
1/31/12
Ralphie is growing like a weed. He's such a super cute little boy. He loves everybody & has even won over Miss Diva (Maggie May). He is very entertaining playing with all his toys & anything else he can carry around in his mouth. He screams when wants attention. Just a great little man.
9/27/12
Ralphie has been here a year today. Wow does time fly. He's such a great cat. He loves all things cats even if they don't care about him. He has grown up into a beautiful boy. He still loves his toys and leaves them everywhere thru out the house. We are so happy he has found his forever home with us. Thank you Siamese Rescue for saving such a wonderful cat.
9/27/13 Wow 2 years has gone by fast. Ralphie is just a super super boy. He gets along well with everyone. He continues to be a little shy but has discovered he has a voice. I guess its more of a scream. We are so so in love with this boy. Thank you Siamese Rescue for saving this boy and allowing us to adopt him. A special thank you to his foster Mom Jeanne B. I just cannot say enough great things about SCRC. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization.
9/27/14
3 years already. Ralphie is a sweet shy guy. He loves chicken so we are able to pet him. We so love our sweet boy. Hopefully we will have many more years with him. He loves his Millie bed and all kinds of toys
9/27/15
Where has 4 years gone. Ralphie has grown up into a super guy. He is still shy at times but have a piece of chicken and he is your best friend. He still loves his millie bed and his heated bed. If another cat gets in his bed he stares at them until they get out. Too funny. He is still best buds with his big brother Bugs. Yep we love him to pieces. Thank you Jeanne B for letting me adopt him and be his Mom. Thanks to SCRC for saving him and bringing him into our lives.
9/27/16
Its hard to believe we have had Ralphie 5 years. He is still doing great. Still a little shy but loves being petted. He is a big boy not fat at 14 pounds. Not the 3 pound baby we brought home. I cannot say enough great things about SCRC. Thank you for saving this wonderful guy & allowing him to come into our lives. Thanks also to Jeanne B for the great care she gave him prior to his adoption.
9/27/17
Oh my 6 years already. It's hard to believe it's been that long. Ralphie is doing great still a little shy but really loves attention. He is still very bonded to his Turkish angora brother Bugs. They play & chase each other. He still loves his Millie beds & in cooler weather he likes the heated bed. Thank you SCRC & Jeanne B for allowing this great guy into our home. 😻

NUTMEG
I am looking for a person who will let me be myself and love me as I am - sugar and spice. I am very playful and a bit goofy at times. I LOVE to get my head scratched and sometimes my chin but only when I come and ask. I am affectionate and have the potential to become a lap kitty with time and trust. I act brave but am afraid of other cats and dogs so need to be your one and only.

I am not needy or demanding of attention but like to be involved in what is happening. Bird watching and snoozing on the cat tree as well as playing with catnip toys.

Notes from Home
Nutmeg, aka Nut-Butt, is becoming more and more of a character. She has taken a fancy to the shower, whether it is in use or not. Nutmeg has gotten a lot more friendly and affectionate. Her bad attitude has significantly declined. She likes to trail us around the house - our shadow. Nutmeg is a riot. Now for her bad behavior...
We had a vet appointment for her annual - she did not take that well. She did not behave well for the vet. That night, she made it a point to pee on my legs - such a naughty girl. That resulted in banning from the bedroom. Despite the last vet appointment being a while ago, she has not yet regained access to the bedroom. She does try to force the issue rather unsuccessfully. The one time she won, she ended up being carried out of the bedroom - purring the whole way. Nutmeg still rules the household with a furry iron fist. She is the alpha kitty, maintaining authority and control over everyone else. Overall, Nutmeg is doing quite well.
