MILLIE
Hi, I'm Millie. I'm here with my sister, Mollie, and meowmy has a hard time telling us apart.
We've been together since birth and love to snuggle in the Millie bed together, so we would like to go home together. Once we're micro chipped, meowmy said she'd put a temporary ID collar on us so when we go home, you'll know who's who. tee hee
We are sweet, purring girls and so happy to be clean and safe now. We both have slightly fluffy tails and a medium hair coat, but it's as soft as silk now that we are all cleaned up.
If you're looking for and instant family, we're the ones for you. If you already have a cat and t's a boy, that would work, but if it's a girl it wouldn't be a good idea to ask about us.
Purrs,
Millie

Notes from Home
Millie is a very opposite to her sister. She is calm and relaxed most of the time unless I coax her into playing and running after the stringed toys. Every morning she is the first to jump up on me and purr. to be honest she does get me late for work because I just cannot get enough of the affection!! She is the cutest little floof!

TONKS
hi, I'm Gretchen. I'm a healthy female tortie point, with just a tad of tortitude. I love when Meowmy pets me, was really good for my entry bath, and purr a lot. I'm here with my friend, Bruce, and Meowmy said we can go home together so we have a playmate and someone to wrestle with.
If you're looking for an instant meezer family, maybe we're the ones! Ask about us, but no human toddlers as we're still too little for them to play with.
Purrs,
Gretchen

Notes from Home
We renamed our little girl Tonks (the witch - also from Harry Potter - she was Lupin's girlfriend). She is definitely full of catitude but is showing herself to be a cuddler!

REMUS
Hi there, I'm Bruce. I'm a healthy little fellow and I'm telling Meowmy I have a meezer voice when I want something, mainly to get out of my playpen and run around in the room to play. I purr loudly too, when I'm petted and make lots of biscuits when Meowmy talks to me. I'm here with my friend, Gretchen, and Meowmy said we're going to go home together. So if you want an instant meezer family, here we are, but no toddlers, please, as we're too little for little humans.
Purrs,
Bruce

We changed this little guy's name to Remus Lupin (from Harry Potter). He is adorable and such a lover. Our vet's tech nicknamed him Rob Lowe because of his beautiful blue eyes.

LUCKY
Greetings and salutations from Queen Lucky. I've been on a journey searching for my very own THRONE! Here I am in this picture with my second Good Sam on my "chair throne". You see, I was originally the "Junk Yard Queen" - Yes, you heard me - but they knew that a "royal Siamese" like me didn't have a "throne" at the yard, so a Good Sam took me home. Unfortunately, he couldn't keep me, so another Good Sam took me to her palace briefly while she looked for a rescue for me. YES, she found Siamese Rescue for a royal cat of seal color.. SOOOO, now I am temporarily visiting at Hotel delShue where there isn't a throne for me. But, soon I will go to the "Wakenell Meezer Palace" where I will be crowned Queen Lucky. There is already a King, a Prince and a Princess there, but I am going to be the QUEEN. I will have my very own throne there, BUT, I need to go on just one more journey to my REAL Meezer Castle with my own THRONE in my FOREVER CASTLE. Will you have that CASTLE and THRONE for me? Purrs and headbutts, from the QUEEN - LUCKY who will be your QUEEN of HEARTS!
9/20/09 I have arrived at Meezer Castle and have thoroughly charmed the servants. All have noticed my exquisitly soft fur coat! The other royalty are aware of my arrival, but I prefer to settle into my royal quarters without their assistance. I am awaiting your inquiries. Love, Queen Lucky.

Notes from Home
2017 Update: Lily is doing well and is a happy girl. She shares her home with another Siamese rescue (Cali formerly Lerrah) and life is good. Lily was diagnosed with Diabetes 4 year ago and we almost lost her but is now doing excellent. She gets daily insulin injections and handles it like a champ. Thank you SCRC for allowing me to bring these two beautiful cats into my life and home.
Lucky and I got home safely from Indy to Norfolk with no major issues. She was a real sport on the flights and did well except when we were changing planes in Charlotte. She was extremely vocal and let everyone in the airport know she wasn't pleased on being in her carrier. We did get lots of looks and hordes of people running over to check her out. She was quite popular to say the least!
Lucky is settling in and is already sitting on my lap and sleeping with me. Sake, my 15 year old resident cat, just ignores her. No hissing or anything but some coy teasing and posturing. Lucky was not happy to be isolated alone in a bedroom and she thought she could knock the door down. In her first 2 days, she “explored†the house and was a little nervous. Oddly enough, Lucky is enamored with my Lovebird, Lola. She sits next to the cage and they actually chirp to each other. It's a hoot to see! She even licks my toes when I get out of the shower just like my Zoe did. Stay tuned for more updates.
6Nov09 "Lily" is thriving in her new home. She has bonded well with her new older "sister" Sake and they are enjoying each other. It's nice to have another sweet Diva in the house. Lily is quite vocal and is constantly "chirping and trilling" as she moves all over the house. Life is good...
27Nov09 Lily has completely integrated herself in our home and her full personality has blossomed. She is such a sweatheart and full of vim and vigor. Lily has bonded well to Sake and is so gentle with her when they play. One of her funniest quirks is having to be in the bathroom when I shower and has to "view" the inside of the toilet when it is flushed. Lily will run from anywhere in house the moment she hears water running. It's quite comical. I can only say that I am blessed to have found this wonderful little cat. Thank you to everyone at SRC, especially Sarah and Pat!
19May10 Six months later and Lily is definitely in charge at my house! It's been a wonderful six months and I laugh every day with her antics. She is loud and you always know where she is by her trilling and chirping which is virtually non-stop. And she's a talker! Lily loves to lick your face and feet and loves to cuddle. She is quite mischevious and loves to dig in my plant pots but does know what the word "No" is! I am happy to say that Lily is a one-of-a-kind and no doubt has found her home for life. Thank you SCRC for everything!
14Feb11 Lily is doing fabulous. She is now all alone at home due to the recent death of her companion, Sake. Even though she is doing great, I think it is appropriate to find her another kittie companion. I have reactivated my application and will be searching for the perfect addition to our home. Lily bonded well to Sake and appears to love other cats. I am looking forward to "finding" another rescue to bring to my home. Stay tuned!
24Apr2012 Lily is officially the queen of the house. She is a wonderful cat and the epitome of a Siamese diva. Lily trills, chirps and talks non-stop as she moves through the house - it is quite humorous. She is never farther than a few feet from me at all times. I could not ask for a better cat. Lily has done well with her new companion (Cali aka Lerrah) though she is definitely the alpha female and sometimes is a bit jealous and pushy with Cali. But all in all, they are great companions. Thank you!

FELIX
I'm just a tiny little thing & my foster meowm is trying to get me feeling up to snuff. I'm growing, so my foster meowm is very happy! If she isn't happy, I suppose I'm not happy! Give me a little time to get over my kitty cold & I'll show you just how adorable I am!!!

Brinx is now Felix and he is certainly is a "little man" as Debi so aptly described him! He now weighs 4.20 lbs. and is a whirling dervish of kitten fun. Felix has the most amazing purr for such a little guy and is extremely affectionate. He loves to play and jump and chase crunchy autumn leaves. He also thinks it pretty amusing to chase his companion, Lucy! At night, he likes to jump on our bed and touch noses and then purrs SO loudly, that it's hard to get any sleep! What a love bug. We are so blessed to have Felix and Lucy in our lives.

Notes from Home
I've twice deleted Ming's updates. I hope I'm less clumsy this time. I picked Ming up at Nancy's two months ago, & he went directly to his carrier box & got in it on his own. Little fussing on the way home; he watched me and occasionally talked tous. When he arrived home, he sat up & sniffed the air, smelling the sea breeze for the first time. Ming settled in right sawey, eating using the litter box & sleeping with me.His first "catch" was a Carolina anole, who hitched a ride He immediately started escorting me to the bathroom & & is highly indignant if I leave him. He sits on my lap & tells me all about his day or his dreams, only stopping to watch the water swirl in the bowl.l .What a place t a place to get ones first head butt
He's growing big, weighing over 6 lbs - twice as big as his little "sister," Mei-Mei, who arrived 4 weeks'after him. He's been very patient with her, though he's had reason to be provoked. l

CHARLIE
Sweet, bright, inquisitive, that is me. I am a typical curious busy kitten. I am learning the boundaries. I am the most loving cat.I want to be in your lap or next to you or talking to you. Foster mom tells me all the time that I will get a loving FOREVER home so I just need to be patient. In the meantime I am getting along with the other cats here. Just click on ask about me so you don't miss out on a real love bug.
Foster mom says I can only travel one day away.

Notes from Home
Charlie Thornton (VA6641) is a wonderful loving kitty. I adore him. Charlie's shown qualities of endurance and patience during two hurricanes, Matthew and Irma, in two years in Florida. He continues to alternately take care of and annoy his pal Gabriella, adopted from a shelter here in Jacksonville and also Siamese. He is adapting well to taking heart medication via chicken treats, does not like having meds mixed with regular wet food. The vet, Dr. Richard Langford at Coral Reef in Atlantic Beach, sees him every year for shots, and monitors his heart. Charlie is well loved. I can't believe he's agreed to live with me now for eight years. I am blessed.

Notes from Home
Re: PS If I can catch her! !
She’s being a typical kitten, instigating “fights†with her big brother, etc. She knows no boundaries & jumps right on top of him, if he’s sleeping with me. She’s so involved with him, she has little time for me, except when she's sleepy. Then, she'll jump in my lap, purr & cuddle.
She’s a little timid when people come to the house, hiding, especially if it’s a man. When a plumber came, she hid all day & we searched & searched: we thought she’d gotten out, but that night at bedtime, she appeared, She’s getting better, & even came out tonight when a man she’d never met came to dinnerl
I think it's a little harder if the cats are not litter mates, or bonded when they are adopted. Size & age make a difference
10/18/17: Mei-Mei has settled in & almost enticed Ming into a relationship. He's twice as big as her, and already thought he owned the house and me, before she came. She's been rough on him, never giving him a second's peace, jumping on him, hopping over him, chewing his ear & tail. Last week she began to groom him & he tolerated it; this week, he reciprocated. & didn't tackle or bite her. She's a licker; he's a head butter & door darter. Mei-Mei watches what he does & if he won't eat something, she stops eating it. I've had to stop feeding them together for now; she only weighed 4.02 lbs. at the vet on 10/16/17. What I thought was a small hernia was some unabsorbed stitches from her hernia repair. Vet said no open places, though. She likes electronics & has learned to step on the keyboard on my laptop, to wake it so she can see the images;chews paper on my desk, gets in file drawers, etc. I think she'll turn off the alarm on my cell before long;she surely watches whatever I'm doing very closely. I've taken her out of the freezer drawer, my dish & cereal cabinet, & the inside of a recliner, She's not a climber or a talker, like most Siamese. Have learned she likes small children, but not loud dogs! BL
