POPSICLE
I had been in a poor environment before going to the shelter - bad ear mites and extreme flea infestation and not too much chow. Foster mom says the mites and fleas are fixed and I just have to eat more to plump up a little. I am very sweet and will take as much loving as you will give. I'm a little more outgoing than my sister, Joline. Learning to play with toys and have some fun.

11/25/16 Well I can only describe Popsicle as a "silly willy". She chases he tail, plays with all her toys and when she sees Pattaya at the gate she reaches under it and if he doesn't give attention, she will lay on her back or do other attention getting things. She and her sister lay next to each other a lot. She loves to be stroked and patted also. I am so glad that both of them are together.
12/14/16 Well the cats are all integrated! They were separate but in viewing site for three weeks and one night Popsicle and her sister decided to hop the fence. She still is the most outgoing, will lay next to Pattaya, and actually jumped over him since he was in her path. No hissing, but grabbing each others food. Thank you all for your work in making a perfect match.
5/13/17 Well is still "silly". Like to check things out still, loves my Pattaya and often sleeps right next to him but will also jump right over him if he is in her way. VERY playful and loving. The three of them are doing great together. She loves to get into things and usually lays next to me when I am on the computer and thinks nothing of "pawing" the screen. These three are very well matched!!!
8/26/17
The girls thought it might be a good time to say HI. They remain cute as anything as they get older. Sorbet is a little bigger and quietly affectionate. Popsicle is still silly and playful. I still have a collar with a bell on her just so I can track her in the house. Sorbet plays a game with Pataya by laying next to him when he is sleeping an being really nice. Then when she has his attention she swats him and runs. All is well with the three of them and we are all enjoying our lives together. They spend a lot of time laying on the windowsills in the sun watching the birds on the deck. I am so blessed to have had so many beautiful furry ones. helps you to continue your very important work. 11/2/17 Well still silly!!Smaller than her sister but full of mischief. Loves running through the house, especially at night.

And I'm just about back! It's been a long road and not an easy one, but I'm feeling better every day! And now I'm starting to explore and I keep climbing in bed with that Chennai, so Aunt Siri said she'd try to find us a home together to start. I've got some learning to do but I can do it, really!

Not enough room for all the good things I have to say. What a little charmer this guy has turned out to be. He is affectionate, puts his belly right up to be scratched, lays with and grooms the other two as they do him. He does sometimes give Houdini a swat and run around, which is good for Houdini because he is older and somewhat lazier. He does like to eat his own food and then sees what every one else is having. This has been fine since we seem to have a round robin eating with everyone checking out everyone else's dish. We so love this little guy. He fits in perfectly. Vangie was right again when she told me years ago, "choose the one that speaks to you" and Pattaya spoke loud and clear from the first time I saw his video.

5/13/17 Pattaya is getting a workout with her "sisters" here. They are all very active, Get along well, play, sleep next to each other and play "fight". He eats well, sleeps well, enjoys attention and has a bed near a windowsill in the sun which he loves. Always knew he was made for great things!!
9/23/16 After the death of Twist, two months ago and Houdini almost a year ago, Pattaya is still doing well but obviously grieved the lost as I did. He is still a great little character, becoming more and more loving. He had gained more weight then we would have liked, but I think that had to do more about her original living space. He is back to being very comfortable and spends a lot of time next to me. He caught a mouse in my kitchen two weeks ago and after killing it put it in my bed and waited for me to wake up. What a very nice gift!!

11/12/17 Pattaya continues to do well and liking his "sisters". They have funny games they play with each other. This update gives me a chance to think back to when he came. He had been so sick and he came from awful circumstances but Siri finally thought he was ready. I think back to advice that I received with my first rescue. Roy had said that I would know who was for me because that kitty would "speak to me". And Pattaya was the one who spoke all those years ago. He is like big brother with Sorbet and Popsicle.

I finally figured out where this is to update!!! This is way overdue.
Echo is beautiful. Demanding, sassy and has her brothers in line behind her!! What a Diva.
She has fit in wonderfully. She has been to the vet though for sneezing. We did another round of antibiotics but she still occasionally has these sneezing fits. Usually when she smells or tries to purr. Because she is healthy, eating, growing, playing....they are not overly concerned at this point. And it seems to upset Jack and me way more than it seems to bother her.
She loves her toys, playing with the light laser and popping bubbles!! She runs around chasing her brothers and is tiny enough to then dart under the dressers or china cabinets to evade and frustrate them! She enjoys sleeping in our bed, usually behind our knees or at our stomach. She loves to be pet, but only at her initiation and she has no qualms telling you when she has had enough! She really enjoys napping on our laps, especially if there is a warm blanket on them.
We love and adore her so much. And we can’t thank you all enough for choosing us! The entire process of this program is outstanding. Well planned, well organized, well carried out and run by the most compassionate people imaginable. Thank you all for everything.
I will make my next update in a much more timely fashion but until then, please enjoy these photos.

Hello All!
I came into rescue as tiny baby, I had a home for a year but my person couldn't keep me and now am back in rescue. Things are pretty good here. There are some nice cats, good food and big windows so I can watch the birds. I've only been here a little while so foster mom doesn't know every thing there is to know about me but she is learning. One thing she knows is that I am great with girl cats.

Notes from Home
Just a quick note, Zak is doing terrific here in his new home. Had to integrate him slowly with our other new female kitty as they are both kind of dominant personalities, but now they are buddies (still somewhat rough and tumble, but great play pals). He didnt eat all that much at first for a few weeks, but now he can't get enough food (EVO dry & quality canned food), he is filling out and thriving (he has no litter box issues whatsoever).
Everyone just loves Zak, he is playful, goofy and loving, you could not find a sweeter cat, Thanks to the volunteers at SCRC, and especially foster Fran who did a great job getting him ready for adoption, thanks so much. Uploaded some pictures, Zak with his new girlfriend Jazzy. -Derrick
11/8/18 - Zak doin great, he loves everybody, still a great big kitten. Last physical had an SDMA kidney test done , it was just outside normal range, so we put him on Blue kidney diet, worked great after 6 months his #s are back down in normal range. Included a picture of him doing his fall chipmunk/squirrel watching from the kitchen door window. Love our boy. His housemate Jazzy is also 8yo.

It's been two years since Miss Georgia came to live with us. She is a little spitfire who rarely slows down. My husband has dubbed her "Little Bit" and lovingly mocks her tubby tummy. She loves to hop in the shower when we're done and drink the water, and her favorite toy is Da Bird - she even plays fetch with it! She is our pretty princess!

Notes from Home
Chess is doing great. He loves kisses and snuggles. He sleeps with me and his brother Shire every night and follows me around the house. He is a very active boy and loves springs and rough housing with Shire. He did have a cold and his eyes where infected after we adopted him, but antibiotics and some eye drops cleared it up. And now he is just the most perfect addition to our family.
