I love everybody - strangers, kids, other kitties, and I will even try to be friends with a dog - IF I have to. If you have friends over, I will make friends too.
My foster Dad says he has never seen such big blue eyes before and my foster Mom agrees. Plus my Mom calls me her typical kitten as I just love to play and I do love it when you pet me or love on me - that's the best feeling ever. I know we would be very happy together - so ASK ABOUT ME and hurry as I am growing up fast.

Dean is making himself quite at home with his new family. While dad calls him his "kitty gentleman' mom is calling him 'the terror'. I can no longer call him "little" as Dean has put on some weight and mass since arriving. He is never shy to let you know when you are not paying enough attention to him or when he feels it is time to feed him.
Dean will by no means be my lap cat, instead he is filling the "spastic" requirement set by mom. There seems to be some communication problems between us at the moment over the subject of sleep time. While Jill and I are firmly in the "night time is sleep time" camp, Dean is partial to a late afternoon snooze followed by a whirlwind marathon around the time mommy and daddy are going to bed.
9/26/10: His personality is coming along quite nicely. I recently was called away on sudden business for an extended period of time, something that I had not planned on. At first I was worried that we were not connecting or progressing at the pace I was hoping for, but updates from home seem to show that a connection was made. Before I left I made a small nest of clothing that I had worn in an area that Dean frequents, just as a little reminder to comfort him. Apparently he would sleep in that nest for the whole first week I was gone, now that I've been away a couple days he seems to have found mommy a fine replacement and has claimed part of the bed as his territory (which he defends from toe or leg invasion quite vigorously).
Ultimately he has found a way into our hearts and both Jill and I are so thankful to Siamese Rescue for all they have done. We look forward to Dean's brother joining us soon. Pics to follow. -John

Notes from Home
Macy is a wonderful kitty for our family. She has adapted very quickly and we love her very much! It's as if she's always been here. She is a good eater, good potty goer and is getting along extremely well with our other cat chloe. They are inseparable and play, romp and eat together all day! We were so happy that it all worked out so easily.

Just arrived, took a look around, and made myself at home. I'm social, playful, and even the vet thinks my personality is wonderful! I'm a little on the small side so will need to stay here several weeks to grow up.

Notes from Home
8/7/10: Indigo is doing excellent in his new home! He is very playful and active, and enjoys the full run of his new home. He is a very lovable kitty and a handsome little boy. He loves to play with anything that has a bell in it.
9/19/10: It's hard to believe that I have been at my new home for nearly 2 months now! I'm growing up fast, and I'm now around 6 months of age! I love coming into my mommy & daddy's room almost every morning to wake them up. I always come in purring, and wanting to be petted when I do wake them up. I also love to run, play, and hang out with my older sister Jazzy (She's a Tortie Siamese btw). I love to eat my meals with her, and I especially love to clean her. We're like two peas in a pod.

HANNAH
UPDATE: I'ts me again, Hannah, here to tell you that my sister and I are almost ready to go to our forever home. We are just about through with all our shots and vet care. i was very lucky and got through my medical scare with little trouble. I am veryhealthy now and would love to go to your forever home. Be srue to ask about Honey and me.

Hope you are having a sunny day like we are. I'm posing in the sunshine so Mama Katie could take my picture. I look a little bit "chunky" in this picture, but it's just the way I'm sitting. My littermate sister, Honey, and I are a bonded pair that have been through a lot. Somehow we got locked up in a basement and no one came to take care of us for a long time. We lost a lot of weight, got very dehydrated and had horrible fleas. BUT, you know what, everyone around us says now that we are two of the most loving cats they've ever known. We both LOVE to have lots and lots of attention, love to be petted and will jump up on the bed with you to sit in your lap or snuggle next to you just as soon as you sit or lie down. We both managed to get a bit of a shelter cold, but that hasn't stopped us from loving and being very grateful for everything we now have. Yes, I am a tortie, but there isn't a bit of "tortitude" in me - I am as easy going as my blue point sister. Because of all we've been through and since we seem to be very bonded, right now foster mom thinks we should go home together and I agree. How about you? Whew! I just got back from the vet for some shots and a check-up. I am up to 9 lbs! My Iams kibble is dee-licious! It's been about a year since I found my fur-ever family, and I continue to be a romping, stomping, playful tomboy. I like to paw at moths on the screen of the deck door and chatter at the birds that dare to fly into my yard. When I'm not playing, I can be found basking in the sunshine, belly-up. My fur has grown in very thick and I've started to show some of my tortie colors in the fur on my back. I still rule the household with sisters Honey and Tori, and brother Charlie as my loyal subjects.

HONEY
UPDATE: We are about ready to go to our forever home - we're all done with our shots and we are in good health now. Will you be the family to take us home forever? Honey here resting in bed with my foster mom. She had to call in foster dad to take my pictures because I just couldn't stop headbutting her and the camera. Just as soon as she got into the bed, I snuggled right up next to hear and purred, purred, purred and made biscuits. That's how my foster dad got these pictures. Just like Hannah, I feel like I am a VERY lucky girl to have a bed, some people, some food and water and attention when I want it. We had a very hard time before Mary Lee at Animal Care and Control started taking care of us. We are SO lucky to have found loving people who want to help us. Yes, we are very grateful kitties and will show you how happy we are just about any time. I am a very easy going girl, but do demand my share of the attention. I'm also a talker (more so than my sister), but not enough to bother you - just to let you know how happy I am to have you around. Sis Hannah and I just got back from our yearly check-up at the vet. I am up to 8 lb 9 oz and Hannah is even bigger! My fur is thick, soft, and full. I enjoy seeking out interesting places to nap. I've scaled the shelves in my daddy's closet to snuggle in with some hats and t-shirts for a snooze. One day, mom and dad couldn't find me anywhere, until dad finally noticed me snuzzled into mom's empty lunch bag on the kitchen counter. I also enjoy sleeping on top the refrigerator or the piano. Mom and dad say I am a sweet, easy-going girl. I can't believe it's been almost a year since I found my fur-ever family!

Meezette is doing well. She is spunky and sweet and loves to wrestle with her Uncle Barney our one year old cat. She likes to play fetch and will bring her little red mouse back and drop it right at your feet. She likes to cuddle, but only at night.

Update: I am getting so brave now! Meowmy let me out to play and that was fun! I batted my little mousie all over the foster room, and then carried it around in my mouth. I did growl at the other foster, though when he tried to take my mouse. I tole him to go find his own toy!

Stanley is still shy, but he has his appetite back and last night he played and snuggled for hours in our laps and beside us. He hides under things, but when we bring him out he acts like nothing could make him happier than to be held and played with all day long. NINA
I've been waiting such a long time. Foster mom says that I am the best behaved and least demanding Siamese she has ever known. I greet her whenever she comes near, I love to be petted and purr loudly, I play gently, get along with her male cats and love to look out the window. I use my scratching post and my litterbox and try very hard to be good. My former family had 5 cats and kids and then decided to move to a mobile home. I ended up in a scarey shelter and now this foster home. Can I quit waiting and come to live with you in a real forever home?

Notes from Home
Very sadly Nina died on September 4th at 9am. She suddenly developed a saddle thrombosis on September 1st. My vet said she'd need to be eathanized - I just couldn't/ We visited the cardiologist and he found that her heart was quite enlarged, maybe from her heart murmur, and she'd likley develop clots again in the future. But there was a chance she'd pull through so we went home with blood thinner and pain meds. I spent most of the last 3 days with her and she died at home quite peacefully. We miss this sweet noble and gentle girl very much.
Bear is very lonely on his own, so we'll start looking for a new girlfriend for him.
