Oh la la. Look at me.
I am a beautiful young lady with a truly fabulous plume of a tail that would be the talk of any Paris runway.
Not only that, but I'm very affectionate, talkative and friendly.
I'm a sensitive girl by nature so need a home either on my own, or with a young gentleman sibling who treats me like the princess I am. I'm just far too delicate a fashionista to be bullied.
With a wonderfully soft and silky gray coat, why would you even think of cuddling up with anyone else this fall.

Notes from Home
Bella continues to do well. We changed litter on her and although I did it gradually, it wasn't gradual enough or she just doesn't like it. She urinated out of the box several times - always on a soft towel. I switched her to the "Cat Attract" litter and her problems went away overnight.
She still does not like men she doesn't know. She will hide under the couch to watch them and decide if she can come out to meet them on her terms. We don't force her to come out and meet anyone.
Bella has met 4 different dogs of friends. One stood at the a glass door and barked at her. She just sat and stared at him. No running away or hissing. The other three were older and very calm, so they were allowed to approach her. She touched noses with them, then walked away with complete non-interest.
Not a cuddler at all, she sits in laps on her terms, but she does enjoy what we call "sweet lovings" where she gets some firm scratches on her chin and ears and mouth.
She also gets her teeth brushed daily and tolerates this very well. No fighting the brush at all.
Overall, she is a delight and a love.

Needing a quieter home with someone who will let me enjoy you at my pace, I'm friendly but don't like to be forced into submission, if you know what I mean. Soft voices and gentle hands and I'll be just fine! I am a little fur challenged so you should love to brush me too.

8/30/2018 - Tiko is doing EXCELLENT! He is the biggest love bug. He was definitely scared and timid for the first few weeks, and understandably. We properly integrated him with Yoda and they get along very well. No fighting, no hissing, they are good mates now! We still feel like we are learning more about each other every day. Just recently, he started to sleep for a few hours with us in bed at night- this is a HUGE step for him. He has favorite toys, he drools when he's hungry, and he absolutely LOVES belly rubs and head scratches. He cannot resist. We feel so lucky to have gotten such a sweet cat and we can tell he loves us (he loves Lynn more than Matt :), he loves routine and consistency which we have, and he is settling in very well. To compare where we were from week one to know, there have been HUGE strides. We love him so much (he loves hugs too :) We are a happy household :)

Am I cute or what? I guess that sounds a little like I'm full of myself, and foster mom says that's because I am. Pick me up, carry me around...it's all good--I'll even snooze on your lap for a while. I don't sit still for long though, and I'm high-energy so be prepared to play! My best friend since kittenhood will be leaving for a new home soon and I'm thinking maybe a kitty friend would be a good idea. At first I didn't like the others here at all, but now I don't think they're so bad. Foster mom even caught me grooming her other foster, Penny, the other day. I'll need time and patience to adjust to new kitty friends though.

To My Friends at Siamese Rescue
Can't believe that it has been 8 years already since I came to my forever home.
Attached is a pic of me and sis Kochia waiting for birthday treats from Pop.
All is well on the home front. Looks like the move to Florida is out of the picture, as Pop and Meowma have completely renovated our home, and even upgraded the screened porch that was built just for us Meezers. Now it is a year round room, and we can enjoy looking out at the golf course and all the nature that it attracts.

Notes from Home
We are very happy to have Mellie in our lives. She is a playful girl who gets along well with everyone. She is extremely playful and has found a friend in our Mainecoon cat Lana. Mellie seems to love us all the same. Some nights she spends with my son and other nights with my daughter. Sometimes I even wake to find her nestled in-between my husband and I. She's a good eater and does not let anyone steal her food. (This was something I was worried about since she had difficulties gaining weight before we adapted her.) She is not a big talker, but every once in a while will use her voice if she wants our attention. Thank you all so much for your help in taking care of Mellie. She is a much loved addition to our home, and we all feel lucky to be with her.

Paige is the love of our lives! She definitely rules the roost around here. The only thing she does not like is having her nails cut. going to start visiting the vet for that. She really keeps us entertained and amused with her antics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paige still rules the roost and accepted our new baby, Chase very quickly. Within two days of his arrival they were best buddies. Pretty sure this is because he was such a little kitten and also male.
She loves taking her naps either with my husband, laying right next to him or behind him on the back of the love seat. Once in a great while she will get in my lap and give loads of purrs, but, she has to instigate this and we realize that is just the way she is.

Notes from Home
Hi and thanks for the Happy Anniversary. It is a very happy one. I love my forever home, even my older sister Biscuit, who is a Sheltie and whom I sometimes chase. What fun!
I have gotten even closer to Mommy and Dad, curling up on the couch in their arms and sleeping snuggled into Mommy's chest. I've also discovered my purr. It seemed to be lost for years, but this year it is back so I can show how happy I am.
My name is still Dante but Mommy calls me many things, including Kitzel (I don't know where she got that from), and sometimes bad kitty. But not very often. I also come when she calls Kitty, Kitty, Kitty and she seems to think that is wonderful
Thanks to everyone who took care of me in Florida and got me to my home in Virginia.
