KANE
Hey, guess what, guys? I might be learning this "appropriate interaction" thing. Foster mom says I need to keep learning my manners. But I already know how to be loveydovey and to reach up to you for affection and rub all over you. Oh that swat? I'm not supposed to do that? Oops! OK, well, I'll see what I can do about that. Foster mom says I'm a project. Well, of course I am! I require your undying love and affection. And I'm outgoing and athletic and affectionate and busy and ... and... Oh, and she forgot my stunning good looks, too. How can you resist a face like mine? I'm the Rocky Balboa of seal point snowshoes! You *can* tell I'm handsome seal point and white and not just your run of the mill black and white moozer, right?
See how loviedovie I can be in my latest video. And guess what I'm learning? I'm learning to wear a harness and leash! And on my short explorations out in the living room today on my harness, I met the dog again, and I did OK. Shhh don't tell anyone.
I'm one of those cats that would probably be best as an only cat, but if you have another cat who will just let me do my own thing, that works, too. As long as I have youuuuu.

Kane is thriving in his new home. All family members (4) love giving him attention, affection, and play time. He has added two to three pounds, so he is approximately 15-16 pounds now. His day consists of sleeping in, head butting, occasional biscuit making, chasing small, noisy balls, greeting any visitors to the house, cat tree siestas ,and did I mention clawing my favorite chair. Oh, and eating healthy food, also. He is a wonderful cat and we would like to add that he was deemed a project cat. Anyone who might not think they want to take a chance on a project cat should definitely reconsider. With Rinn and Peggy's help and the wonderful Siamese Cat Rescue Center, we are so fortunate to have Kane to bring us so much joy.
Well, Kane's been living here in Delaware with us for one year now. He's had healthy check ups at the Vet. and really doesn't seem to mind visiting him. Kane is up to 17 pounds so we are making sure he gets play time to help him keep his "muscular physique". He has been a great addition to our household and we count ourselves lucky to have him. I hope everyone enjoys his pictures (thanks to Carlee).

I'm a petite seal point girlie, and I love to be petted and to explore. I lived with other kitties before, so I will probably be good with others. And I met the woofer, and she seems OK, too. I have a little infection in my one eye right now, but Aunt Siri will get me all fixed up. Going to Aunt Siri's 12/14. More information soon!

Dear My First Human Mom, I'm hoping that you are well. I landed in a lovely place. I have gone from a skinny kitty to a well-proportioned kitty. I'm now 9 lbs! While you called me Samantha, my new mom calls me Liu.
I live with two other cats-my brother who is the alpha cat in our house and a younger cat who takes turns loving me and teasing me. My new mom says that little sisters are like that, no matter what species they are. (Giggle!) My brother and I are buddies and we sleep, touching each other's paw every morning.
My favorite spot in the house is the bed with the down comforters and pillows or at the foot of my new mom. Every day, she holds me and we together send warm thoughts to you, hoping that you are okay.
If you like to see me, my new mom would be happy to share me with you. She told me that she can tell by the way that I act around people and that you knew that my birthday was Nov. 28, 2007, I must have been loved a great deal by you.
Love you and hope that you are doing well.

| Richard will want you to sit with him in a chair or couch, so that he can jump up on your lap and lean his head against your shoulder to be petted. He will stay there as long as you let him! He is such a character! So much personality! And if you happen to bend over close to where he is sitting, he may jump on your back for a ride while you are still bent over! |

HUNTER
Looking for a soul mate kitty? A very affectionate chatterbox who just wants to love you? I enjoy sitting on foster mom's lap, kneading and snuggling. I will rest my head on your chest or sit quietly at your side while you watch T.V.., read a book or take a nap. I will also follow you around the house and sit with you. I get very uncomfortable around dogs. I get along with the resident male, but am not too fond of the female foster here, and she is a flame girl, so that says a lot about me.
I'm a very strong, sturdy cat, and my fur is as soft as sable. I would do best with an experienced Meezer savvy adopter, and in return will shower them with lots of love and ongoing conversation.
So far, my needs appear to be fairly simple: Provide me with a quiet home with no dogs or other cats, and a person who can sit with me often, allow me to put my paws on your chest, sniff your face, and knead and occasionally drool a little on your shirt. Is that too much to ask for? In return, I will be your devoted companion for life.

Notes from Home
Hunter is one happy little guy. He loves to play with Da Bird, and
he loves to chase and play soccer with the Midnight Crazies balls. We play
every morning and night, and when he gets tired of playing at night, he
hops into my lap and goes to sleep. I usually fall asleep too! He is the
"lappiest" cat I have ever had, and he's been sleeping with me off and on
too. Last night, he spent the whole night right next to me in bed. Some of
my neighbors have come over to see him, and he didn't try to run and hide.
They all said he was "cute" or "pretty". I wish I could take him with me
when I go for a walk because I want everybody to see him! Oh, he must know
I'm talking about him. He just came in here to see what's going on. He
follows me all over the house!
3/21/14 - Everything is going great. Hunter is the quietest Meezer I've ever had - no early morning wake-up calls! If he would just stop scratching the furniture, he would be PURRFECT!
2/22/15 - We're still in love! He sleeps on a pillow alongside of me every night, and he's still there in the morning. He's so quiet that I forget he's there until I wake up and see him curled up next to me. He's a total sweetheart. I am so lucky!

PIXIE
I am sure one cute little girl, but I am also a project kitten. I was born outside and so my contact with humans has been pretty limited. Not sure that I trust them yet, but I think I could learn to with the right person. A quieter home for me please, no little children as they would really scare me. A well mannered dog might be okay. But definitely must have a feline buddy who can teach me that people are okay.

Pixie fka Gieselle. Can someone tell me how to officially change her name, please.
Pixie is an absolute joy and delight. She is very sweet and very gentle without a mean bone in her beautiful little body. Even when she is naughty, e.g. stealing my pencils, she does it so gently and quietly, you have to smile. Pixie has the cutest little wiggle when she winds herself around my legs. Every night, she snuggles up close beside me in bed, offering me her tummy to stroke. She is so much more confident now than when she first came home but is still rather timid and will shy at loud noises. When visitors come into the home, she now watches them from the middle stair landing rather than hiding under the bed. She still does not like to be picked up and has mastered the art of scooting just out of reach if she thinks you have that in mind! LOL. Her favorite toys are the plastic springs which she carries to the top of the stairs and then chases them down again and along the hall, purring & chirruping all the time.
Medical History: Her jaw/muzzle is slightly malformed, but this does not detract from her beautiful little face (see photo, if I can figure out how to download) Her teeth are very white but her incisors are odd and grow forward rather than down. One grew large and almost like another canine tooth. It was very loose so my Vet pulled it out. She has a very sensitive digestive system which we control by only feeding her Blue Basics Limited Ingredient Grain Free Formula Turkey & Potato dry food.and her treats are the Purebites dried chicken pieces. She has a check-up twice a year and is up-to-date on all her injections.

Percy (PJ) is having as much fun with us as we are with him. There's a lot of love in that furry little body. He waits on my daughters bed at bedtime and then cuddles up for the night. He loves to eat! Hes always poking around the dog bowl for goodies. Big brother Rosco the toy poodle doesn't know what to think of his shenanigans. PJ likes to stick his paw out when Rosco comes around the corner. We're so glad Rosco has a daytime buddy. We couldn't have found a better match for our family. Thanks Siamese Rescue -- you are awesome!!
