TRISTAN
Just arrived yesterday, and already I've had a bath. I'm settling in here but I'm a bit scared of all the new things in my life. You see, I wasn't handled much so far and had to fend for myself, but I'm finding out that pets and skritches feel good and even rewarded meomy with so purrs this morning. I'll have to tell you more as I relax more.
Update:I come to the front of the cage withmy tail up and rub when I see meowmy coming. I love to play, purr as soon asmeowmy starts to pet me, I don't think I'll ever be a meet and greet type of cat, but will be very loving and comfortable in my environment onceI 'm settled in. A little patience on your part will be well rewarded in the end.

It's me, Tristan ;o)!! Well, I'm a big boy now, check out my pics!!!! I was a little sick when my meowmommy adopted me but she nursed be to health and my Vet says I'm good to go ;o)! I give my meowmommy head butts when I see her and play a lot with my big brother (Milo). Well, until next time, know that I'm loved and cherished beyond measures :o)!!!

It's me, Tristan (aka-Dexter). My mom changed my name, she said I looked like a Tristan so there it is ;o)! I'm settling in fine - still a little untrusting at times but as soon as my new meomy touches me I start to purr and I know she loves me and won't hurt me ;o)! Here are some pics she took of me...my eyes are closed a lot because I don't particularly like that flashy thing, but my meowmy loves it...I'll check in soon. Thanks Foster meowmy Jeanne for taking such good care of me. My eyes are much better because my new meowmy is very attentive when it comes to my health...will let you know how my first vet appointment goes in a week or so...bye for now...Tristan

It's Tristan again, just wanted to let you all know I'm doing fine and growing really fast so check out my new pics!! My meowmy is so in love with me too...she's growing on me, what can I say ;o)! I like my new brother Milo, he was also adopted from the Siamese Rescue. We play-fight a lot, I admit, I start all the fights, but he puts up with me and trys not to hurt me during our play time. Meowmy is really careful to make sure we don't get outta' hand!! Anyway, its been about 3 months now and I just wanted to check in! Oh, I like my new Vet too...not crazy about he carriage ride to/from so I get really quiet then when I get home its all play again. Well, Happy New Year Siamese Rescue, I'll be seein' ya'...

Hey, I'm very sad to report my brother Milo (aka Boon) has gone on to kitty heaven...he left me on 3/23/17 and never came back and I'm very sad...I hope my cat-mommy finds me a brother or sister soon...I miss my big brother and call out to him at night but he never comes...my cat-mommy has been especially loving to me but since I'm not a lap-kitty like my big bro I'm hoping she adopts soon because all her lovin' is driving me crazy ;o)...I'll keep you guys posted...paws crossed for a new sibling soon...

Hey Guys,
Well, its been a while - going on almost 10 years with my new home. I still miss my big sister (Nadia) but I know she's in a better place...kitty heaven. Since I last talked to you guys I got this new little brother (Tristan)! He can be a pill sometimes...always wanting to play when I wanna' sleep, scares me when I come out of the litter box, he's nuts :o) but I've learned to love him ;o)! We get along great but mommy separates us during the day while she's at work - she thinks us boys will tear the house up playing...she's probably right ;o) but in the evenings when she gets in ITS ON ;o) Tristan misses me and I miss him so we play all night until mommy goes to sleep - I still sleep on her bed with her but Tristan likes to sleep in our new kitty tower - mommy got it for us last year for Christmas. She takes good care of me and Tristan...thank you so much for my new home...and my new little brother, Tristan!!!

Hey Guys!! It's me Boon! Well, my mommy changed my name to Milo. Since I was just a baby when she got me it didn't take long for me to get use to my new name, I like it ;o)! So far I'm having the time of my life - my mommy LOVES ME SO MUCH, she's always hugging and kissing on me which only makes me wanna' follow her EVERYWHERE. I wait for my mommy to get home every day and fall in front of her onto my back so she can rub my belly...I still don't know why she insists on trying to put her bags down first - sometimes I put on the extra charm just to watch her struggle to rub me...I'm mischievous like that ;o)!! Well, these days I'm a little sad...my sister Nadia left last weekend and never came back...I still look for her in hopes that she'll return but my mommy says she's gone to heaven and had cancer...don't know what cancer is but I don't like it :o(!!! Well, hopefully I'll get a new baby brother soon...guess I'll just have to wait for that surprise one day! You guys take care and thank you Siamese Rescue for my new forever home, I'm so very happy here with my mommy ;o)!!
Hello Cat Lovers - I'm very sad to report that Milo (aka Boon) went to Rainbow Heaven on 3/23/17. He had a fight with a vicious stomach tumor that left me no choice but to let him go. He passed peacefully at the Vet's office the morning of 3/23/17. He lived a wonderful life and is leaving me with MANY JOYFUL memories...there will never be another Milo and I will never try to replace him. His brother Tristan is sad so I'm pretty sure I'll be adopting a sister for him sooner than later. God bless you all and thank you for blessing me with such a beautiful and loving kitty.

The bad news is that I'm a seal point Diva so.......
I'll need a home with an experienced Siamese owner;
No children or active noisy homes;
My new home should be no more than 2 hours away from my foster
home, as I don't care to travel;
I really don't like other cats, but we might be able to negotiate this;and

She is still into everything and VERY affectionate and MORE THAN SMART.
She loves to chase and fetch a ball and bring it back for another throw/catch... over and over again! (part dog, I think).

Notes from Home
It has been two weeks since we have taken Jesse home. He is a complete joy! At night he sleeps in bed with us and Samson, our dog. During the day I notice him and Sam snuggled up napping. No longer does his heated bed appeal to him. Twice a day he eats 1/3 cup of food and drinks water throughout the day. He really likes covering up in this litter box. In the mornings he and Sam walk down the hall to the kitchen from the bedroom together. It is so cute! Jesse is a busy, busy guy. He will sit in my lap a little and then remember he has a ball or toy that needs flung up in the air. When he does sit on my lap he stretches his front paws to touch my hubby. He loves to be brushed and petted. When I quit petting him, he grabs my hand with both paws and puts it in his mouth. He doesn't bite, just holds it a minute and then licks like crazy. We can't believe he has only been here two weeks. He has fit in perfectly. Jesse was sweet to our 11 year old grandgirls and even licked on them. He head butts and lives on Samson, too. I think he just might be the perfect cat and might be saying Mama! Thank you for sending him to me.
One month: Things are going fantastic. Jesse is a jewel. He and Samson now play tag and sound like a herd of wild horses running through the house. They sleep together, eat side by side, and Jesse sits at the door while the dog runs outside for a potty break. He has learned to back up (reverse) from the door when Sam comes in. Jesse is such a smart boy. He is a beautiful, affectionate, playful, loving, high spirited Siamese who talks to me and believes I understand. It hardly took any transition time for this purrfect guy to fit right into our little family. If I had not listened to JoAnn, I would not have waited for the purrfect match. She is a blessing and Michelle took such good care of Jesse before he came home. Both ladies were so patient with me. Thank you for my sweet boy, Jesse!

Once we got it established that I am the most important member of the household, I decided to get along with the dog, although I'm not particularly fond of other cats. Fuzzy is doing wonderfully in his new forever home! He has really come into his own and I can tell he feels at home here. He loves being picked up and petted. In fact, he is quite smart at knowing exactly how to get that from both me and my husband. For me, he just comes to me and lifts up one paw, for my husband, as he knows he doesn't like picking Fuzzy up, he throws himself to the floor and rolls on his back to be petted. He is a mature fellow, so he likes to relax most of the time, but I can find him in the mood every now and then to play with his feather toys. He loves to jump on his cat tree in the morning and enjoy the sun. He also has found his favorite place to curl up in his bed by the heater!

Bunny is doing great! She is cuddly and lovable and the Queen oft the house!
Bunny has been in her forever home one week today! We love her sweet, mellow squeezable meezer self! She is adjusting well to her companion Zell and three canine friends! Bunny sleeps on our bed and comes up for lovings when we wake up!
Almost three weeks now since Bunny became our new love. She has made her place with her lover Zelly, they sleep on our bed near each other. It won't be long before they are snuggling!

I have the shelter sniffles but I am one sweet cat. I still let foster mom know I want attention and affection. Give me some pets and I am a happy cat. I also love to be brushed.
UPDATE:9/24/10 I am feeling better and have lots of love to give. I am a handsome long and lean boy. I am fine with other cats and enjoy laying around and watching everything.

Leo is doing very well. We are currently leash training and he is doing very well at that!. It is a positive experience as he loves the outdoors and cries to go outside and he is a very heavy cat and holding him gets quite tiring. He's not allowed out alone. LOL We are all looking forward to christmas and I think our new Meazer has the most presents already!
He is very nicely settled in and has his routine set and our hearts are stolen.
He loves to jump up and lay in the sink when we are trying to brush our teeth and if you try to run him out he will pop you hand. (No claws though) He is definatly Mr. Personality! He is the Lover Monkey we were looking for and we consider ourselves blessed!

4/24/11
Leo continues to rule the roost. We had a bit of a bumpy journey for a while. He has been afirmativly diagnosed with idiopathic hypercalcemia but with the help of the good and wonderful Dr Jeff (his vet) and all the support, prayers and songs from SCRC he is doing much better. He's even back to chasing his tail which is too funny!
He loves to get up into the front window and say "hello" and if we don't respond hello back he gets ever so much louder. We knew he was a special boy from the start but never did we think he'd be bilingual! LOL

We have reached 1 year on 10-24-11! It was a bit rough at times but now it's all smooth sailing! The final verdict on his health condition is Idiopathic Hypercalcemia. Fancy term for no clear reason for too much calcium in the blood. He is regulated on prednisone and special food and is doing fabulous!
Leo loves to go for walks on his lead and has more toys than should be legally allowable. :) We love him and couldnt imagine a life without our boy! Oh and did I mention he is quite a talker!!! Check out our pics!

I know it has been a long time since our last update. Leo continues to do fantastic. He take his medication every day and is a very happy Siamese. We have a granddaughter in the house now and she is almost two years old. They both sill don't know what to think of each other. I'm sure on day soon they will be best of friends. In know it doesn't see true but Leo turned 7 years old last September. I know attached some pictures and as you can see he has his favorite placed and still have the toy his foster meowme gave him. Yep, that is still his favorite toy. His next update will be much sooner next time I promise. Leo said thank you for all the purring prayers that he received when he was sick because they really worked! Leo says please see my pictures, I'm still one good looking Kitty!
Allot had happened since my last update. Michelle has moved to Atlanta for work at CSX and has gotten married! We let Leo decide who he wanted to stay with and he is here with Mom and Dad (Mike & Suzie). We moved to Callahan Florida on a very large parcel of land with lots of wild life for Leo to look at as well as a lake. I (Mike) have retired and can stay home every day with Leo and he loves it. We thank God every day for Leo and don't know what we would do without him. He is the most perfect part of out family. They say every adopted Siamese has some baggage but if he does I can't see it. He still have hypercalcemia but is doing very well with it. His last check up was very good. I want to thank everyone again for giving us the gift of Leo. We cherish him everyday.
