Hello out there?

Is there anybody out there who might want a pair of fun loving kittens?

You see, me and my bff, Sandy, have been waiting quite some time for our forever family to choose us. We love it at foster meowmy's house, but are ready to be in our very own home with our very own family. If you would like a really nice pair of kittens - playful, affectionate, sweet, and entertaining - then you need to ask about us! One click for Sandy or I is all it takes to ask about both of us. Here is a little more about me.....

I'm a fun-loving guy who is so entertaining, there's no tv necessary! I love playing, playing and then playing some more! I am very active and energetic most of the time.

And then I tire out.....

And I begin to purr so loud you'll wonder if an airplane is taking off! That's when I get really snuggly and just want to be petted and held in your arms.

So, let's review: fun-loving, entertaining, playful, active, energetic, loud purr, snuggly, loves pets and being held.....what's not to like?!!!

And I'm GORGEOUS!

One more thing - and this is important, so pay attention! I have a best friend named Sandy and I love her so much that she and I must go together as a pair.

Ask about me today!!! That's right - click that button.....right now....JUST DO IT!!!

Purrs & Snuggles,

Danny

Notes from Home
A delightful loving boy. His name has changed to Daniel Francis.

He is bonded with Sibylla Rose (changed from Sandy). We are so happy to have Daniel and Sibylla in our home.

Good morning Foster Mommie,

We wanted to let you know we are doing great. We love our new home. We have visitors almost every day and they all come with a bag filled with toys and treats. Mommie and Daddy don't let us have all the toys at once. Today we had brushing and some nail clipping. Both of us were a bit wiggly for the nail clipping, and Mommie did not finish the job! We have yummy food, mostly dry food and a bit of Fancy Feast. We also have treats when we use our scratching posts. Mommie and Daddy are so pleased when we use our posts.

Mommie and Daddy want you to know what a great job you did fostering us. They said we are such sweet kitties and they attribute that to the good care you provided us. Mommie and Daddy said the write up about us is very, very accurate. I, Daniel, continue to be in my crazy play mode. I run and play and love my wand toy and my spiders. I still growl when I play with my spiders. My purr is very loud, as you know. I, Sibylla, remain the perfect lady that I am. Daniel is crazy, but I love him and he makes Mommie and Daddy laugh. I am still a bit shy, but Mommie and Daddy are so very nice.

Thank you Foster Mommie for taking good care of us. We send you XXOO and purrs.

Sibylla and Daniel.

February 1, 2015

Hello everyone, Daniel here.

I am in my forever home for a month. Life is grand. My forever parents are very nice to me and I love them.

I am still wild and crazy and this makes Mom and Dad laugh. They are very entertained with my craziness.

I am a very good boy. I don't scratch the furniture, and litter box with the best of habits. I love to snuggle with them and I get to sleep on the BIG bed. So cozy!!

Today is my first Super Bowl. Don't know what that is, but I know food is involved and I am very interested!

My mommie will upload some pictures.

Cheers from Daniel.

Life is good!! So happy in my forever home. I am 10 months old now. I am still crazy, love to run and purr and play. Sibylla and I love to rough and tumble. We love our parents. They are kind and loving.

Cheers,
Daniel

We are so happy in our forever home. I continue to be crazy and Sibylla is a sweet little girl. We play and chase toys. We love all the yummy food we get to eat.
Happy Birthday to us and Happy Fourth of July to all!

Happy New Year!! Sibylla and I had a wonderful Christmas. We have great photos under the tree. We were very good, did not climb the tree, just played with a few ornaments. Our parents thought that was funny. We recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary here in our forever home. We are very lucky kitties to have found such a great place to live with wonderful parents.
Cheers,
Daniel

LYLA
Gentle souled sweetheart of a gal. Don't wait too long....

Notes from Home
Lyla was described as sweet in her adoption bio. And boy, is she ever. So pretty and soft. It took her awhile to warm up to me. I have thyroid problems and they were undiagnosed when we adopted her. I guess she could smell it or something because she didn't want anything to do with me. But she would demand pets from everyone who entered our home. As soon as I had radiation on my thyroid, I mean the very day I had it done, she was insistent that I give her pets and snuggles. But I couldn't for 2 weeks because I was radioactive. Ever since then, we've been besties and snugglers. She loves to watch me cook and sew. I had to get Lyla her own chair so she could sit next to me while I worked. She loves sleeping in my fancy fabric pile. Very Marie Antoinette. I bought her a chaise lounge on clearance. When she sleeps there, it's very, 'Let them eat cake!' It's quite amusing. She has a million different hiding places and I still haven't found them all. She sneaks off to nap and we'll go half the day without seeing her sometimes. She's very private. I leash trained her and she loves to explore outside. She even runs up to me when she sees or hears the harness jingle. She's a little murder machine. Moths and houseflies don't stand a chance. We keep her on the leash outside, mainly for the wildlife's sake. Thankfully, she's never killed anything besides the bugs that come into the house. We travel a great deal. She's good on long distance drives. We took her to Louisiana and back one year for Christmas. And several times to New Jersey and South Carolina. She's quite adaptable. I don't like boarding her or Lafitte. They act strange for a long while the couple of times we had to. It's much easier when they come with us. I like to think of travel as enrichment for them.

LAFITTE
Just arrived and I'm confused and sad and recovering from my neuter surgery. I've had a lot of changes: my owner gave me to a friend but she got evicted from her home and took me to the shelter. Luckily, I got evaluated for Siamese Rescue as soon as I came in, so I didn't have to stay in that shelter for more than a few days.

Meowm says I'm a sweet, young boy with deep blue eyes. I let her hold me and comfort me last night and this morning, but I am really scared right now. She told me that life will get better now. More later after I've had a chance to get my bearings.

1/1/13: I have relaxed a bit and now will come out for pets when Meowm visits me. I like to be petted, enjoy the zoom groom and will climb up for headbutts. But I am young and it appears I may have been loved on a bit too aggressively in my previous home. This means I don't have a lot of patience and I'm not very good at letting meowm know when I've had enough attention before I'm mad about it. Meowm says I'm young enough that I can learn more polite behavior but I might need an experienced purrson who is willing to teach me some manners.

1/4 Meowmy moved me to the big foster room this morning. I got nervous again and hid all day. I finally came out this evening and ate a little bit, and explored the room while she talked to me. She says I'm just young and life is a little scary when you don't have much experience and what you have had hasn't been that good. She told me that once I have a forever home, I won't have to worry and be nervous. She knows I like to play with toys: I woke her up at 5 a.m. playing ball in the iso room! I was making a real racket batting a plastic ball back and forth on the tile floor. Meomy said she's going to make a video of me this weekend and take some more pictures.

1/6 I have a video!

Foster Notes

This cat is not suitable for children under the age of 5 (ie 5 and over is OK). This is typically a cat that is shy and a child might scare it, or one that has a potential to bite or play too hardNot with kids under 5

Notes from Home
Lafitte was labeled as a problem kitty. He was aggressive towards women and he had no tell before he bit or scratched. We slowly rehabilitated, or rather, he rehabilitated himself to be with the Hubster. Lafitte loves my husband so much. Lafitte turned out to be so funny and sweet, under all that aggression. He slowly warmed up to me and now, we're sweethearts. He cuddles and snuggles with me nearly as much as he does with the Hubster. Lafitte still suffers from anxiety, which unfortunately comes out as hissing, scratches, and bites. But now, he has tells. We back off when he's over stimulated. We like to describe him as equal parts anxiety and Dark Matter, because although he is only 11 lbs., when he sleeps on top or squished up next to you, he is so heavy. But even with the anxiety, we still make sure he has new experiences. He's leash trained, though he is not keen on the lead touching his back. He's usually content to sleep on the patio cushions when we're outside. And he's great on long car trips. We like to travel, so we made sure he was used to coming with us. Lafitte is a changeling. And sometimes, doesn't look quite like a cat. He reminds us of the Luck Dragon for The Neverending Story. We call him that all the time. Even though he's sometimes quite a handful and deliberately pushes things off the counters to get attention when he's food seeking, we are grateful that he came into our lives. He's funny and very silly. Plus he doesn't meow like regular cats. He chirps and trills. It's quite endearing.

LISBAN
I am a handsome seal man! And I'm a sensitive one - I am not fond of changes. But foster mom says that there is only one more change for me - my forever home. Now that I am settled in, I'm very friendly and very purry. I like the cat tree and beds, and I love to be pet and scratched. I get along fine with other kitties as long as they are nice ones. I use my litter box like the good boy that I am. I have been to the vet, and officially declared very sweet. My senior bloodwork was done, and that will be back soon. But the vet says I seem healthy, so we aren't expecting anything other than the signs of a senior cat. I eat well, and I even play! I love to sit next to you and watch TV too - I can help you root for your favorite teams, or watch movies with you. Need a nice companion? Then ask about me.

I am back home with my Paw. I had a short trip to PA to visit my (temp) foster but am back now. went to see Dr Verma today and I started my prescription KD with my azodyl to help with the kidneys. Things are the same and it is like I never left (sitting in the recliner with Paw, Sleeping on the bed and in my mille bed, getting lots of love and playing with my leather toy).

Life is good.

1/10/16
Life is good here. I play hide and seek every morning with Meowmy and Paw when it is medicine time. I love to spend time with Paw sitting in the recliner or snuggling at night in bed. I am one happy cat!

3/10/16
Loving life! I am happy that Spring is coming. Meowmy and Paw have had the deck area (the feline residents call it the Catio) open and I like to lay on the furniture, bask in the sun and listening to the sounds of nature.

8/6/16
I went in for my annual bloodwork and Meowmy was able to get the Idexx SDMA test for me. The results are in and my levels are closer to the normal range then last year. So, all the yummy prescription food and daily Azodyl pills are keeping me healthy. other than that, nothing much has changed. I still love to relax with Paw in the recliner and spend my days watching wildlife on the catio or napping in the sun.

January 2017: state of the home address
Not much have really changed. I continue to take my daily meds and my health is good. Dad and I take our afternoon nap together in the recliner and we like to watch tv together too.

January 2018: state of the home address
my healthy continues to be good. I take my renal meds and eat my prescription food with some wet in the morning and a roasted chicken snack about mid-morning. I like to sit with Paw in the recliner while he watches the news and I take a nap. Since it has been so cold this winter, we snuggle together in bed too. overall, life is good.

January 2019 - state of the home address
My health continues to be good. we lost one of our furry companions this past year and that was sad for everyone especially Meowmy. The kitchen was remodeled and now there is a large window seat under the bay window . meowmy keeps a couple of mille beds there and it is a really nice place to nap in the afternoon sun. Paw and I are still the best of friends and when I am not laying in the sun, I am napping with him in his recliner. The youngest kitty here is a fluffy brat named Stanley who now thinks that he should be alpha cat so periodically he will pick a fight with me but no worries there, I am double his size so I remind him of his place.

ANALA
Hi there! I'm Anala.

Meowmy named me that after an Elephant in a TV series she'd watched. She said I was so tiny when I came that she wanted to give me a BIG name to grow into. And it's working. I was the runt of the litter, but now am 2 1/2 lbs, had my spay and am ready for my forever home.

I love to run and play, know what my litterbox is for, and also like to snuggle with meowmy. I did have an injured eye when I first got here, but that's all better now and it just waters a little sometimes. Won't you consider giving me a forever home?

Purrs,

Notes from Home
Came to live in my new home in Nov. 2012 and I learned all kinds of things from my brothers. I have 3 and a sister. We helped meowmy wrap up presents and I helped dad pull tissues out of the box and I ran around and played a lot too.

2013 Summary
Meowmy said that I grew like a weed. Must be all that exercise and playing chase in the house. Meowmy gave me medicine every day and my eyes are pretty blue and bright. Meowmy and Daddy say so. I found that sleeping in the window with my brothers is a good thing to do and I share my king size bed with meowmy and daddy. They love me so much! I like things done a certain way and sometimes I have to tell Meowmy when things aren't right. Daddy gave me lots of treats so I know he likes when I share my opinions with them.

My sister meezer died this year and Meowmy brought home another brother for me. At first, I did not like him but he is a nice guy. I even showed him how to sleep in the window. Tucker and I are besties now. I like to sleep all stretched out but sometimes Meowmy would start up that robot vacuum. It is smart because it cleans right around me.

Then I became 1 year old. I received lots of treats and kisses.

So, happy new year and don't forget to kiss your meezer!

Jan 2014
I have heard about these Re-solutions. I am not sure I like this. Meowmy made one, I think, because she has been putting this stuff on our teeth. two of my brothers had some teeth taken out and Meowmy says that this paste stuff will help us. It doesn't taste bad but I am not sure I want fingers in my mouth.

June 2014
my Pawrents decided to make the house different. They made the deck area cat friendly so we can go outside there and sniff the breeze, or watch the birds. There is yummy grass for us growing and the screens keep all those mosquitoes, fleas and ticks away from us. It is so nice. They also thought that if they replaced the carpet with wood then our toys slide across the floor easier. It makes it so much more fun to play in the house.

Nov 2014
So it has been 2 years since I came to live here and Meowmy and Paw have learned my schedule. Dinnertime, snacktime, love time and playtime. Paw always warms up my bed by laying in it first....a big queen size bed for me and sometimes I let my fur-brothers snuggle with me and Paw. He is such a great paw because he never lets my greenie treats run out and he gives me my lysine everyday. although Meowmy works a lot, she always makes time for me too. I love my home!

January 2015
Things are going well here. I am happy, eating well, keeping things neat in the litterbox and love sleeping on the top of the cat tree and playing with all my toys. Since it has been getting cold at night, I love to curl up and snuggle with my Paw at night.

January 2016: State of the Home Address
2015 has been a year of changes. Tucker left us when renal disease won the battle but Paw wanted to add 3 new members to our family: Maxie who is 1/2 siamese and her mama and 4 sisters all found homes with SCR, Stanley who was a seal balinese kitten that needed jaw surgery when he was 2 months old and finally, Lisban a senior seal gentleman.

overall life has been good with me and I have not had any eye problems but Meowmy and Paw make sure that I get my L-Lysine everyday with greenie treats. They feed me and all my fur-siblings good food and make sure that we always look our best with brushing, nail trims and teeth brushings.

It has been 3 years since i came to live here and I love it!

January 2017: State of the home address
I am almost 4 years old now.

2016 brought health issues to me. I was diagnosed with Stomatitis and had all my teeth removed. After several checkups and a daily fatty acid for a month. I was feeling much better. I hardly have to take the fatty acid anymore and use it like my L-Lysine, just for maintenance when it is needed. everyone's is doing well especially since meowmy has sequestered Oreo to the upstairs. There are no more power struggles amongst the boys.

Smokey continues to watch over me like a big brother and I run through the house with Stanley and Maxie.

Meowmy has a new job in which she works long hours so we all try to snuggle with her at night. She likes when I sleep on her pillow and make biscuits in her hair while she sleeps.

January 2018
a little late with the state of the household address
Not too much has changed over the last year. I just turned 5 and I still like to run through the house. I love the catnip toys such as the lemon and the banana. I like to snuggle with Meowmy at night when she is not with the foster cats. I have been maintaining my healthy weight so no issues with my stomatitis or my herpes. however, when I do get a leaky eye then I get yummy treats to help it.

January 2019 -- State of the Home Address
My health has been good and I vow to get more lap time in the coming year. I did lose my best kitty buddy in 2018 and that was hard for both me and Meowmy. We both loved smokey very much. There have been lots of foster kitties coming and going. The kitchen was remodeled and now I have a nice window seat to sit in and look outside. Meowmy usually keeps mille beds on it so makes for a nice napping place especially when the afternoon sun is shining in. nothing else new to report.

Notes from Home
12/27/2015...Happy Holidays to everyone! Tomorrow will be our 1year anniversary of adopting our magnificent Meezer Purr-Cee P.!!! How quickly this year has passed! It seems like such a short while since we were bringing him to his "furrever" home! Time surely flies when you're happy & having fun! Purr-Cee P. continues to be such a sweet, precious, gentle soul. He is all we have ever dreamed of and hoped for in a kitty. He is happy and spoiled rotten! He is a pleasure every single minute of every day. I am so thankful to all who helped us bring this sweet sweet boy into our home and our hearts! I will forever be grateful to SCRC, Beth, Jennifer, and the marvelous Meezer Express for making this adoption possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Happy 2016! May you all be happy, healthy, successful, & Meezer merry! Cheers....Sharon & Purr-Cee P. Reynolds 🐱

8/25/2015...As we get ready to celebrate our 8 month anniversary with our precious Purr-Cee P., it is a bittersweet time. A
year ago today we lost our beloved Meezer boy Eli to cancer. He was a wonderful, sweet, fun loving seal boy, who died way too soon. However, after having Eli, we knew that we MUST have another siamese! Luckily I found SCRC, which lead to the adoption of this most wonderful cat we call Purr-Cee P.! I had such an empty place in my heart and was so very sad. Purr-Cee P. has filled my life with such joy and happiness, he is an incredible, sweet, loving little fellow. He has not replaced Eli, but has has made his own very special in my life and my heart. He brings our entire family such joy and happiness every minute of every single day. I cannot believe it has been 8 months since we met Meezer Express and brought this fantastic boy home to be a member of our family, though it's hard to remember life without him! He is everything we had hoped and prayed for and more! I thank SCRC, Jennifer ( foster Meowmy), Beth ( interviewer), and all the wonderful people who made this adoption possible. Purr-Cee P. is the perfect kitty for our family. He's a happy, healthy, well adjusted, spoiled rotten, lap sitting, amazing, loving, purring, precious boy! He has wrapped his little paws around our hearts and we love him more every day! ( If it's possible!) Thanks again to all. Sharon & Purr-Cee P .Reynolds

6/29/2015...Hello to all at Siamese Cat Rescue! Yesterday we celebrated our 6 month anniversary with our fantastic little meezer boy, Purr-Cee P.!!! It seems like only yesterday that we met Meezer Express in WV to bring him to his forever home, but then again, I can't remember life without this most wonderful, precious, sweet boy! I had an email from our interviewer Beth, saying that the "honeymoon period" was probably now over, and wondering if there were any problems or behavioral issues, or naughty problems, with which we may need help. ( So very sweet & thoughtful of SCR to offer these services) However, we have NO problems with Purr-Cee P. at all!!! He is the perfect kitty! His purpose in life is to give his family all of his love! I have had many cats, & loved them all. But, Purr-Cee P. is the sweetest I have ever had the pleasure of calling mine! He is a master lap sitter, champion head butter, and fantastic at "biscuit making"!!! He has really come into his "own", since he became a member of our family. He now is a big "talker" (with a very sweet soft voice), loves watching tv, likes watching the birds & deck creatures, drinks water from the faucet, and knows exactly how to wrap us around his little paws!!! I sometimes wonder how I was so very fortunate to become the Meowmy to this wonderful kitty! He has excellent litter box habits, scratches only on his scratching posts, and is very sweet and loving. The only problem he has is deciding which lap he will curl up on! He is a delight each and every day. I am forever thankful and grateful to SCR for making Purr-Cee P. a member of our family. I believe so strongly in this rescue organization, that I am now a volunteer! I am on the Meezer Express list, and am soon becoming an interviewer! I hope to help others find their sweet furry babies, just like Beth, Jennifer, and all of the other wonderful people helped me! My sincere thanks to all at SCR, we will send more updates soon. We enjoy every single minute of every day with him, can't wait to see what comes next!.
Sincerely, Sharon Reynolds & Purr-Cee P. (Who is purring loudly on my lap) 🐱 😍😳🐈

3/28/2015...Hello to everyone at Siamese Cat Rescue! Today is our 3 month anniversary with our precious Purr-Cee P. ! We love him more with each and every passing day! It seems as if he's been a part of our family forever! He loves his home, his family, and life in general! Purr-Cee P. is such an easy going sweet soul. He is the purrfect little fellow. He fills each and every day with fun and so much love. We are so very thankful to have him in our family and our lives! We will be forever grateful to everyone at Siamese Cat Rescue for this most wonderful cat! He is on my lap as I am sending this update! He sends his sweet meows and purrs to all! Our love, Sharon & Purr-Cee P. Reynolds

Hello to all of our "meezer" friends! Purr-Cee P. has been with us for a little over a month now. What a wonderful, sweet, precious fellow he is! He has become a very happy, well adjusted, and VERY loved member of the Reynolds family! This has been one of the most wonderful experiences our family has had! The entire adoption process with Siamese Cat Rescue was fantastic from beginning to end! Purr-Cee P. has adjusted much much quicker than we ever expected or hoped for! He has won over everyone he has met, including our vet! During his wellness exam he happily sat in Dr. Kennedy's arms, and was such a good boy! I was so very proud! We have had problems with our computer, thus, I cannot download pics at this time. We are getting our new computer soon, and I will be posting new ones very soon. We only have about 100+!!! A huge thank you to all who helped us get this wonderful kitty. We are all head over hills in love with him! He is learning how to play with toys, and LOVES catnip! Everyday is a new adventure filled with happiness and love! We'll send new updates soon. Until then much love and purrs to all! Sharon Reynolds & Purr-Cee P.

Oops!!! My Meowmy sent my update on her "smartphone", and it re-spelled her words! She meant she was head over HEELS over me!!! Or, maybe hills too! I also send a special rub, purr, & kitty kiss to my wonderful Foster Mom Jennifer! Thank you for doing such a great job with me, and for helping me get to my new Meowmy and furever home! I will always remember you and love you! Purr-Cee P. (Pistachio) Reynolds =^..^=

2/15/2017-Hello and Happy belated Valentine's Day to all our "Meezer" family and friends! Sorry we are late in sending our update, the holidays flew by during our 2nd anniversary! Purr-Cee P. is the most wonderful, precious, spoiled rotten kitty! He is the center of our family! We all adore this sweet sweet fellow! He is a happy, well adjusted,, very loving, lap kitty. He is everything we ever dreamed of. He loves his family, his home, and life in general. He has had some skin allergies, but, is under the care of Dr. Amy Randall (a wonderful animal allergist from Oregon)! Dr. Randall travels to NC once a month and sees patients. She has helped him so very much. He was allergic to several trees and shrubs (even though he is a totally indoor kitty). He had a serum made especially for his particular allergies, that he took twice a day by mouth. It has done the trick! No more prednisone or steroids! If anyone is having trouble with their kitty and allergies, I highly recommend seeing an animal allergist! It makes for a very happy "non-itchy" kitty! As I said, we adore this magnificent Meezer, Purr-Cee P. We cannot imagine life without him. We are forever grateful to SCRC for bringing this fantastic feline into our hearts and lives. Thanks especially to Foster Mom Jennifer and Interviewer Beth for all that you did to make this adoption happen. He is the BEST!! He has wrapped his precious paws around our hearts...we are in love! Meowingly yours, Sharon Reynolds and Purr-Cee P.😻

12 28/2017...Hello to all you wonderful "Meezer Lovers"! Today we are celebrating our 3rd anniversary with our beautiful Meezer boy, Purr-Cee P.! He continues to be the most loving, precious, perfect kitty. We love him so very, very much! He spends his days talking, watching the birds and squirrels out of the bay window, curled in an available lap, and being his sweet, cute self!. He is spoiled beyond belief...he only drinks water out of fawcett on our bar or in our bathroom, wants to be moved in his bed to follow the sunbeams coming through the window, and wants to see his food come from the can into his bowl (if not it's not fresh!) & "tells" us he wants to go to bed! He is such a lovebug! My husband has had some illnesses this year, 2 heart surgeries. Purr-Cee has been an incredible nurse and companion. He would not leave his Daddy's bed until he was able to move around the house! He is very "in tune" to the health and emotions of his family. He will stay by your side loving you until you feel "all better"! He is a most wonderful furry baby, and we are head over heels in love with him! We could not have hoped or dreamed of a kitty as wonderful as he. We are so thankful that he came into our home, lives, and hearts. We are forever grateful to VA SCRC for making this "love connection"! Also, to Jennifer (Foster Mom) & Beth (Interviewer) for finding us the "purrfect" kitty and helping him get to us and his forever home! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this most wonderful, special, precious boy. Meowingly yours, Sharon & Purr-Cee P. Reynolds😻

12/28/2018-Holiday greetings to all at SCRC & Meezer Lovers! Today we celebrate Purr-Cee's 4th anniversary!!! It just gets better & better...not sure how it's possible, but, we love him more each and every day! He is the sweetest, most precious, gentle little soul. He is the love of our family! He spends his days being his very cute self...deciding which lap to sit in, carrying on lots of conversations, watching all of his deck creature friends, and just being the most precious kitty in the world! Our forever heartfelt thanks to all at SCRC who helped bring this magnificent fur-baby into our family. The best Christmas/birthday gift ever received! Our very best wishes to all for a happy, healthy, joyous 2019. Special thanks to Jennifer (foster Mom), Beth (Interviewer) & Meezer Express drivers (Jennifer driving 2 legs of the trip!!!) to get this sweet baby boy to us! Meowingly yours, Sharon & Purr-Cee P. Reynolds 😻💕💞

JINX
Hi out there! I'm finally over my URI, have been spayed and am allowed out with the other kitties. I love one of them and groom him, and he is nice. I don't like the other one and become the Diva and beat him up because he won't fight back. Oh.........it's so much fun to be bossy.

I do like to be cuddled, once I get used to you, but I will give you a hard time if you try to give me medicine. i've had my fill of that for a while.

Do you think you're up to a diva princess like me? if so, you can ask meowmy about me.

Jinx has been here almost 10 years. I love her and I think she loves me. I requested a cuddle cat and she sure is. She sleeps snuggled next to me every night (see photo - that's exactly how she sleeps every night). She is next to me right now and is just the best little cat ever.
She is quite an expensive little thing, as her upper respiratory problems are indeed chronic and require frequent veterinary visits. She has had multiple teeth removed and I even had her scoped, hoping to find a cause for her constant snotting. No fix. She is how she is. Monthly steroid injections help, as do courses of antibiotics as needed. I don't think there's an antibiotic left untried over these past 10 years. We even have Theophylline for the feline asthma that started last year. I'm glad she came to live with me as I think a lot of homes may not have been willing to support all this. She eats well and is playful and is just the sweetest Siamese in the world. I'm so glad she's here.

LUNA
I am not sure what it means to Binge on netflix but that is where foster Meowmy got my name - pronounced Fry-Nee. She says that I am just like that lady detective - happy go lucky, smart, spontaneous, friendly, and in the middle of everything. Little Miss full of energy, that's me.

I love to run, pounce, jump, wrestle and tumble. I would love a young adult playmate to rampage through the house with me chasing balls and capturing feather wands. No small kittens or shy cats because I can be very forward and play rough.

Phryne/Luna is so adorable she’s hazardous! She’s all fuzzy kitten energy and occasionally sleepy purrs. She loves licking noses, sitting on laps and laptops, running after wand toys etc. As per SCRC kitten policies we looked in local shelters for a companion - a kitty she could play with, who wouldn’t be intimidated by her energy. Although we were not specifically looking for a Siamese, Lynx popped up on petfinder! The shelter director felt that Lynx would be a good match for Luna, and that has proved to be the case. He’s more reserved than she is, but very affectionate when he knows you. He’s the sensible big brother, and is confident enough to say “no” when she occasionally oversteps boundaries. Luna loves playing with him! And she encourages him to come out of his shell and sit on laps (he will now sit on my lap if she’s there!)

Happy tails!

LUCY
I am a super snuggler looking for a lovely lap to sit on for hours at a time. I do want to be the only pet as other cats and dogs make me crabby, but trust me, I have enough love to fill a house!

Notes from Home
Hi Everyone! Lucy is settling in nicely and she is now "In Charge" of our home. She loves to explore all of the "nooks and crannies" of her new home and "patrols" during the evening hours.
Then, she pounces on me while I am sleeping to let me know that "all is well".

Lucy is at the door to greet me when I come home from work and we have time for a brief chat before dinner. Meal times are always fun and Lucy loves her moist food....she also nibbles on her dry food from time to time.

Lucy has wonderful "litter box habits" and we are most grateful for this.

We are so glad to have Lucy with us and she makes our home complete.

Thank you so much for Lucy and stay tuned for more updates!

May 13, 2018 Update .... Happy Mother's Day!

Lucy is living up to her reputation as a "super snuggler" and "cuddle cat"....We've had several snuggle sessions while watching TV together and Lucy knows the right places to perch on the top of the sofa. Lucy also enjoys sitting on my lap and computer keyboard (although I have to gently prompt her to move so I can work.)

In the mornings, Lucy races me down the stairs for breakfast and gets very excited when I open her canned food.....her appetite is terrific!

Lucy also enjoys looking outside and admiring the rabbits and squirrels...although she must stay indoors. Other neighborhood kitties heard about Lucy and come over to visit.....but they have to stay outside while Lucy remains inside.

We enjoy Lucy's company so much and are so glad she is here! Have a great week!

Hello Everyone! Lucy continues to do well and she is making new friends with the squirrels and chipmunks who are stopping by. We have her moist food figured out with "Morning Chicken" and "Supper Salmon".....and Lucy nibbles in between meals. Lucy also likes her morning naps and chooses her "Lucy Chair" when it's time to rest. She likes to sleep downstairs at night instead of coming upstairs to her "big bed"......of course, we would rather have her come upstairs, but we always respect Lucy's choice! Have a great week and we'll be back soon with more updates!

Happy Labor Day Everyone! It has been a busy Summer and Lucy is enjoying it! She is up very early in the morning when it is dark out and looks out the window for her friends. Then she naps for a little while I get ready for work. Lucy has been a wonderful companion and we are so glad to have her. Have a great week!

Happy Holidays !
As we close out 2018, one of the greatest joys this year was in adopting Lucy! She has been a wonderful Siamese and even her caregiver is impressed with her affectionate ways!

We are so happy that Lucy chose our home and that she has been a wonderful girl! Thank you for all of the great work that you do!

Happy 2019!

CLOUDY
I am so excited to be going home tomorrow. I can't wait to meet my new family! I know I'm going to love them, and they'll be enchanted with me. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight ...

Notes from Home
Cloudy is settling in nicely. She wasn't thrilled about the trip and hid under the couch for awhile when she arrived. About an hour in she came out for a bit, and then at 3 hours she was sitting on my daughter's lap purring away. She's still a bit skittish when someone goes up and down the stairs (they creak) or comes in the front door but that is getting better. She allows the kids to pick her up without much fuss and has been eating, and drinking and using her litter box. I have some other pictures to upload but here are a couple of cell phone pics from the first night.

10/6/11 UPDATE:
Cloudy is settling in... just had her vet check yesterday. I felt terrible about putting her in the crate again. She howled and seemed pretty upset. I can imagine she must have thought she was getting uprooted again. She did ok at the vet. Healthy and all. She'll be due for shots in December - I didn't want to traumatize her more by getting shots on this visit. Once we got home and she saw she was there she stayed very close to me for most of the rest of the day. She's getting better about sleeping out in the open (usually in our room) but sometimes still goes under the bed. She still hasn't taken to the great bird watching spot we have in our dining room. I'm sure she will eventually. She's been great with the litter box and eating, though I think she might have sprayed in our room. It doesn't smell anymore, but I'll get a backlight to check it out. She walks around and puts her tail up and wiggles it around like she's spraying but doesn't actually do it. The other night she came into my daughter's bed while I was putting her to bed and laid with her for awhile. I need to get some pictures onto my computer so I can upload them. Or I'll see if I can do it from my phone. Will update again later.

9/19/12 Update (1 year)
Cloudy is doing so well here! She is still tubby of course, but on a strict diet. We may consider ratcheting that back just a tad to see if that helps. She is very affectionate, though still a little wary of my youngest son. She does come up near him and lets him pet her, but his voice and actions can be a little loud or sudden and so she'll move away at that point. It's hard for him to grasp that the less he picks her up, the more she'll come to him. I think her favorite person at this point is my husband, though she does snuggle with all of us to various degrees. She loves to lay in the sunny spots around the house and watch the birds from her perch that is eye level with the bay window. We went away last month to visit my family and someone come to watch her and she did very well. No behavior issues and she was happy to see us when we got home. She stayed very close for a couple of days after that but did not seem distressed, just affectionate. She really has settled in and is a part of the family now! I can't figure out how to upload video, but did upload some pics. One of the things that's so cute about her is how she has to reach and grab when she's happy and being petted... she tries not to use her claws so if you give her a finger, she'll wrap her paw around it and pull back on it. Also, she loves her catnip pillow and these 2 catnip mice toys we have. She will rub her face all over the pillow and with the mice, she throws them up in the air and runs after them.

9/25/16 (5 years)
Hi there - Just a quick update on Cloudy! She's healthy and happy and gets lots of naps in the sunny areas by the window. She's almost 12 now, so she's probably a little rickety when she first gets up to walk around, but she's still able to jump up on the counter in the middle of the night despite our protests. Thank you!

12/26/18 (7 years)
We are so sad that we had to put Cloudy to sleep today. She had a mass in her abdomen and had stopped eating and lost a lot of weight (went from 18lbs down to 10.4lbs). She went in for a dental cleaning and had to have a canine removed. She was down to 14lbs at that point which was her target weight. We thought her weight loss was due to switching to a feeding tower to make her work a little for her food since she was overweight and would scarf her food and then throw it up. After the surgery she ate at first but then lost all interest. We tried everything and thought maybe it had to do with the antibiotic they gave her at the surgery. The vet prescribed an appetite stimulant which worked at first and then didn't. We brought her back to the vet again and he did an X-ray and saw that she had this mass and that her intestines were not where they should be. This was Friday Dec 14th and she was down to 11.6lbs at that point. He prescribed steroids as a way to help her feel better and give us a little more time with her. She responded really well, and was eating much more and showed more interest in things. In fact she'd been eating so much that I was surprised that she had lost more weight down to 10.4lbs today. But then Christmas Eve she again became lethargic During those last few days she was peeing outside of her litter box in several places in the house. This was so unlike her and we knew that was a bad sign. Christmas Day she pooped outside of the litter box and it had blood and mucus in it which made it clear that she was suffering more and it was time to let her go. We snuggled her as much as she'd let us and stayed with her at the vet until she was asleep. We are all devastated but will always love and remember her. She was such a wonderful cat.
