TRIXIE
The bad news? I've been returned to rescue, after two years. The good news? I've been returned after two years. I am back where I started, and foster mom is 'recycling' my old pictures for now. I haven't changed much - I'm a petite seal female, outgoing but not a lap cat but will sit in your lap when I am allowed to crawl into it on my own. I love brushing and pets - an Temptations treats! And - most important - I do NOT like other cats, and want to be your one and only. I do have my quirks - foster mom will tell you about them - but don't we all?
Now that I am back to being friends with foster mom again (I am very outgoing once I get over hiding for a couple days when there is a big change in my life) she will get some new pictures of me and a movie, but I still look exactly like the pictures she saved from last time! I am petite, and very cute.

Notes from Home
4/6/18 Trixie is still settling in at her two week anniversary. When we first got her home she ran and hide under the family room recliner. She is hiding under the recliner less and less now, and spends more time in her
pink bed or on the window sill. Under the recliner has become her safe spot when she is nervous.
She has taken to John and lets him pet and brush her, she would not go near him when she first came home. In the morning she
watches from the doorway as he cleans her litter box and food and water bowls. There is a picture of the cat tower he
bought her on the Monday after we brought her home, so she can play and get to the window.
She loves her treats and plays with the barnyard crocheted animals filled with catnip.
She is still very skiddish and wary of noises, cautiously checks out new things. She had an attitude the day we put her
collar on, moped around with a face, but was soon over it.
We feel she is doing really well for only two and a half weeks.
6/17/18 Trixie's 3 month anniversary!! She is doing so well, what a wonderful girl. She is laid back and loves being on the window sill looking out. She has 2 windows in the family room and can also see out the downstairs front door when it is open.
We went on a 2 week trip at the beginning of May and Trixie did very well with our pet sitters, I was worried because we had not had her that long. Kim, our one sitter, called her a diva! lol She does love her pets and brushes!! She will let you brush her for what seems like forever. She plops down on the floor, stretches out her body and says, Scratch my belly and pet me. She follows John around, greets him when he comes home and comes to get him in the morning.
She is talking more too and has the most adorable sweet little voice. We could not have asked for a better match. So far, Trixie has shown very little interest in our parrots. We will always be cautious however. Sometimes, you don't even know she is here, she is so good. She has found her forever home, love her very much!! Check out the pictures.

Clyde is doing so well! I was very surprised to receive the six month anniversary email, time moves so quickly. Shortly after adopting him, a friend of mine asked me to take his kitten as well, as he couldn't care for her the way she needed. I took her, and they've been buds ever since! Clyde is very social and sleeps in bed with me at night, and really anytime I sit down he's running over to be in my lap 😂. He's a big chow hound (which surprised me!) And likes dry food way more than wet food. He's also a bit bold and often wants to try things I'm eating. We've been working on boundaries when it's not his food, and he responds well to a little training. Cleo, our other cat, is more of a typical cat and comes around for love sometimes, but does much more playing with toys and Clyde than loving on me.
I'm so thrilled that I adopted Clyde. He plays with my 65lb black lab often, and holds his own. He's so sweet and friendly, and I look forward to lots more anniversaries with him.

LUCY
Okay! So I don't have an easy button. But I am not hard. I love people. I get an A plus when it comes to providing the relaxation that comes from stroking a kitty. And I have some gorgeous eyes. This waiting is soooooo hard. Where is the right home for me?
You will need to check out my other pictures to see my great blues, but I really wanted you to see that I am learning how to be an office companion.

Notes from Home
7 years? Wow! It seems like I have always been here. I'm super bonded to my mom. My favorite activities are eating and purring - especially purring, I just never stop! Mom says I have the best, loudest purr ever so I make sure she gets to hear it a lot. My boyfriend kitty died this year, but Mom got me a new one that I'm working on winning over. Mostly I just purr though. Or eat. I like food. I also love to race up the stairs and I love to sit on my screened porch and keep an eye on the birds.
6/14/18: it’s hard to believe Lucy is now 16 years old! She is mostly blind and her kidneys are starting to get a little old, but she is full of energy, still totally hilarious, and still has never stopped purring.

DUNKIN
Foster says I am the most gentle, friendly and sweet cat she has ever met. I will sit on her lap for brushing (I love that) and pets. She says I am a mellow fellow and act like a puppy dog. I follow her around and sit at her feet and give her "puppy dog eyes" until she pays attention to me.
I am not so interested in food as I would rather get pets from Foster. Cupcake is always sticking her head in my bowl so Foster gave up on two separate bowls and just got a big bowl that we can both dive into for food. I eat when I have company otherwise I have little interest. A true social eater.
I enjoy sitting on the cat tree so I can watch what is going on. I am exploring the house slowly as our door is open now. All my habits are purrfect and I use the scratchers and my litter box like I should.
I go with my friend Cupcake - because we are sweet on each other.

Dunkin is a love. He is so curious- gets into everywhere and everything! He loves sharing the cat tower with Starbucks and has learned he does not have to share his food with her. He's the talker of the two and has made friends with all members of our family. Whose bed to sleep on tonight?!?

STARBUCKS
Just arrived, but foster can already tell I am the sweetest thing! Purrs, biscuits and curled up in her lap already.
I steal Dunkins food, so Foster keeps an eye on us when feeding to make sure we both get enough. Like to be in the cat tree or on the bed next to Dunkin. House noises dont seem to phase us. A dog barking, a slammed door, etc does not even make us blink. We do listen at the door and love when someone - anyone comes in to pet us. Heaven!
Just starting to show interest in toys. Likes to bat around mice. Stares intently at the bottom of the door where they can see my cats walk by. Is that another play buddy? Have not heard her talk yet.
All habits are A+
I go home with my buddy Dunkin.

Starbucks (FKA Cupcake) is such a sweet little girl. She loves sunny places, head scratches, and FOOD! She has a purr louder than her meow and uses it often. When not resting or night-time exploring she chases/wrestles with Dunkin and hunts invisible prey. We are so happy to have this beauty.

VEENA
Hi! I"m Veena. I just got her on 3/31/18 after being spayed just a few days before. That's why I'm wearing that fancy collar. Sure is better than the lampshade the vet sent me home in!
Meowmy said I'm a sweet girl who loves to be held and petted. I lived with my 3 sons for a while, too, so I'd do ok with other cats. Meowmy said she loves me and wishes she could keep me forever, but she's smart enough to know when she's at her limit of fur kids. So luck for you, because now I might be your beloved fur baby.
Ask about me and we'll see if that can happen!

Notes from Home
Veena is doing great. Her personality is really coming out now that she is becoming comfortable with her new home. She is eating well and a has bit of feistiness about her. Other than having the Giardia, I am very happy with the Siamese Rescue and their process. However, I do feel the Giardia should have been caught before coming to me. I noticed the diarrhea and gas the very day I got her. At first, I thought it was her nerves but of course later found out it was due to the Giardia. Luckily, I took her for her eval within a week of having her, so that it could be detected sooner than later. I am taking another stool sample to the vet next week to make sure the Giardia is gone, but I am still seeing the diarrhea and have noticed the gas still is happening, but not as bad and not as often. Otherwise, we are a happy little duo! :)
