Remy has been with us for two weeks and it feels like he has been a member of the family forever. He is such a loving cat and extremely playful. He loves racing up and down the stairs and discovering all the new things in the house. He loves to play with all his toys as well as the toliet paper rolls. He takes turns sleeping with us in our bed and than wanders down the hall to our daughter's room. Where ever we are you will find Remy close by. He is a wonderful cat and we couldn't be happier and from all his purring and cuddling we think he's pretty happy too!

ANNYONG
Wow, look at me. I can do the same crazy things those kittens can do. I might not be so tiny, but I think I'm cute and very playful, too. Foster mom says I am a bit mischievious too. No way - I behave myself and act like a lady all the time -- well almost all the time. Besides behaving is no fun. Us girls have to have fun - at least that is what that song says. I'm looking for a person to love me and enjoy me. I have to have my person and no other kitties or doggies to share.

Notes from Home
Hi All!
Things are great here at my new home. Right now I am lap lounging and hugging mommy's arm. I do lots of playing with just about everything in the house, even stuff I'm not supposed to play with. I like to chase the "red dot" and rev my motor to let it know that I am not messing around! I impress mom and dad here with my agile athleticism - I'm a good jumper! And I always get treats when I stand up like a meerkat. They seem to really enjoy that, and I really enjoy the treats, so it all works out. Mom and dad were gone for a few days last week. I had people come and visit me, but I was really happy when they came back. I was glued to mom ALL day yesterday to show her that she can NEVER leave ever again! So far things are really awesome. I'm a happy girl!!!

Today marks the one year anniversary of Annyong joining our family. She is a very loving and appreciative kitty. We have had some health issues brought on by allergies (Annyong's allergies, not ours!). A few months after we got Annyong, she started to have these coughing fits that sounded like she was trying to cough up a hair ball. The vet suggested a few different medicines, until the conclusion was made that Annyong had kitty asthma. We gave her prednisone every day until the attacks were gone, and then started to ween her off of the pills. Her personality was a little "off" during this medicated phase, but I am happy to report that she hasn't had an attack in months! Annyong is feeling much better and loves to cuddle with both me and my husband! Three months ago, we all moved from upstate New York to Colorado. She had a hard time on the first day of the journey. I believe she was just so anxious, thinking about how she might be going to a new "foster" home. We reassured her that she was coming with us, but that didn't alleviate the nausea on day one in the car. Day two, we gave her some children's benadryl that she proceeded to spit out and then puke up. She did calm down and napped in the carrier. She didn't get sick once after that. We think it was her nerves gettin' the best of her. She was an excellent traveler the rest of the way.
Annyong loves to stare at us. She's been this way since the first night we came home with her. It's so bizarre, we have nicknamed her the "leer-kat"!
Well, it's been a great year and Annyong has brought much joy to our lives! 1/10/11
Hi from Annyong!
Geez it's been awhile.... I have since moved to Colorado Springs from Troy, NY. I really like my new house as it has lots more room to run and play and lots of sunshine to warm me while I nap. I have been pretty healthy but the vet did say that it looks like i like to eat. And that's true. I am a real good snuggler most nights and have been a lot better not waking mom up by sweetly touching her face when I want attention. My most favorite thing to do is run in circles. I also had a lot of fun with the xmas tree this year! I just love my mom and dad so much and am such a happy kitty. Mom is always saying how photogenic I am so I am going to try and attach some photos so you can see.....

GRANT
I'm just a little guy that someone found all alone, and they brought me to a shelter. I won't be ready to go for a while because I need to get bigger and stronger. Rawr! Foster mom says probably mid to late July. Did you notice my name? I'm royalty!
7/10: Well, boogers. I've got something wrong and I need to stop taking inquiries for now. Check back with me real soon, and fostermom says she'll be ready to think about what my furever home should be by this weekend.

Grant has been so much fun to have! He is very social and still a bit of a rough and tumble! He and Ginny love to be where-ever we are, whether in the office or in the kitchen! He's growing quickly and has loads of personality!
1/17/13 - It's hard to believe that our "babies" have been with us for 6 months!! Grant is quite grown up although a kitten still at heart! He has gotten darker as he's grown, but still a handsome boy!!

MINNIE
Hi, I'm Athena,
I arrived a week ago, and had my spay surgery today (12/5) and did well with it. My ISO time isn't up yet, so I can't meet the other cats untill it is. Right now I hiss at them if they come too close, so Meowmy said she'll have to let you know how I like them for sure once I can come out of my playpen.
I do have good litter box habits, though, and like my food, which meowmy says is good because I'm too skinny right now.
I'm hoping for my forever home soon, and can't wait to have my own person to love and care for me. Maybe that will be you? Hit "ask about me" if you think it could be.

It's now been two weeks in my new home, and I'm loving my new life. I have reached my goal weight (a whopping 7 pounds) and my new vet called me "perfect". I spend my days keeping my new mommy company as she works. I'm just as cuddly and affectionate as my foster meowm said I would be, and my new family loves me already. Mommy calls me "her muse" and keeps trying to snap a picture that does justice to how gorgeous my eyes are. I'm still a little spooked by fast movements and run away whenever the children or dogs get too near, but I'm getting better about it the longer I'm here. I sat in one of the little ones' laps yesterday and let her pet me for a minute, so I've come a long way in a short time!

UPDATE: 9/27/10 - Haven't been here long, but I've won everyone over. What a sweetheart I am!! There is nothing better in my world than to be held, cuddled, petted and for me to purr and give headbutts. I am a "keeper" - that's what everyone says. Do you wnat to "keep" me? Purrs and Headbutts, Tiki
Just got here today, but since I've been in shelter foster care for three weeks with one of Foster Mom's friends, I was willing to pose for a few pictures. I am such a happy, sweet and loving girl, but you have to want a TRUE Meezerette with a big Meezer voice who talks nearly ALL the time if you want me. I carry on very intelligent conversations with you, even if you don't know what I'm saying, but I DO!! I LOVE to talk and talk and talk. For such a tiny girl, I really do have a BIG Meezer voice. My shelter foster mama called me Tiki Bear because I am so cuddly - just like a teddy bear. Pretty.................. yes, that's me, too. Meow, meow, meow from Tiki. Be sure to "ask about me".

I have given him the name "Bailey" Marcia
Jan 2013 - Baily is really doing well. I must admit, it was a bit of a struggle initially but he has really settled in and trusts me - big purrs and he's even getting along better with "Bright Eyes". I think he wanted to be sure he got the Alpha cat position. This one took a lot of patience, but it's paid off.
As a cautionary note, he was at the vets for 4 days. He loves foilage and started to nibble on alstromeria. Not knowing, this flower which is so popular in bouquets, is also called Peruvian Lilly. Its flowers and leaves are toxic to cats and the stems more so. This impacted his kidneys, he lost 5 pounds (which he needed to do). On IV's for 4 days, he has pulled out of it and doing great.

Fostermom says that I am one gorgeous sealpoint girl with delicious, dark black points. I purr. I snuggle. I love love love. I am here with my little sister Cleo and we're settling in just fine. When the vet checked me out they found that I'd been shot with a BB and it was lodged inside my mouth at the jawline. I think that speaks volumes about my former life. But my capacity to love and be loved can't be squished so easily. If you're looking for a ready made pair, Cleo and I are the ones for you, although Cleo does get a little jealous so we probably each need our own special human to love us. But I am pretty laidback, so I might get along with a nice boy cat, or even an older girl cat.
