Antalya is doing really well. She came back from the vet last week with no issues. She went ahead and gave another vaccine to her and we got a fecal sample to do a final check for worms. She's gained a bit more than half a pound since she's gotten here, mostly muscle now that we are working with her every day. The vet wanted us to work with her to build some muscle mass in her back and legs due to a lack of it. So far she's doing well and jumping a bit more every day.
We've learned some other things about her as well that aren't really issues, more just things to get used to.
She tends to like cold places instead of warm places (she won't lay on heating pads or warm pillows/blankets at all, but loves cold tile floors or A/C vents).
She also does seem to have a bit of a sensitivity to light that we will be asking the vet about next time we are in (in a few weeks).
We've noticed her mood changes and she constantly hides in darker places when there is alot of bright or natural light. If we try and play with her in those places she is mostly playful but definitely is restricted, and she just looks not as happy. Since then we've lowered the amount of windows open and made the overall house alot darker (we actually prefer it this way anyway) and its a complete difference. Shes always happy, kneading and wants to play all the time.

OZZIE
WHO walks right out of their cage on their very first day in Group Living (think kindergarten, 9th grade, college, your new job) and immediately grabs a toy, starts tossing it around, belly to the ceiling - yes, I LOVE to play! Clearly loving life in all its forms, I'd love a cat who would be my play partner. Never met anyone I didn't like! Seriously, I'm all about living life to its fullest and I'm just a gem of a cat. So you're a synthetic if you don't ask about me!

It has been a month since Ozzie's adoption and he is doing very well. He responds to his name. He "talks" to his family. He plays by himself and with his family. He sleeps in his own bed. He now follows a routine. He is eating well.

Ozzie is now very confident and well-adjusted to the family. He responds to his name, eats, plays, and uses the litter box regularly. He sleeps in his own bed. He does not want to walk outside using his leash. He prefers to look out the bay window in the family room. He loves the sun coming from the skylights and he snoozes every afternoon while sunbathing.

Looking for a confident Meezer, with purr-sonality plus?
I'm just learning wear my spiffy new blue harness and go walking on a leash. I'm laid-back and loving, and definitely not a scaredy-cat. I like to hug you and kiss your nose, which thrills Meowm. She tells me that I'm very handsome, with a long, 13 inch tail, with three rings at the end, huge blue eyes, tall legs, and just a bit of wedgie in my face. My coat is short and sleek. I enjoy being on the porch in the nice weather, and I have shown Meowm that I really like high places. I love to be with people and snuggle. I'm quite inquisitive. I have a moderate Meezer voice that I use appropriately. Right now, I'd do best as an only cat until I get to know you. I'd really like to love someone forever - might that be you?

We love our little Ninja! He is constantly cracking us up with his crazy antics. We had to call him Ninja because the name fits him perfectly. He plays so hard and then crashes in the funniest positions as if he just couldn't move one more step. He is pure joy and we love him and his sister so much.
