Available for Test Drive means that this cat can go home on a trial basis. The adopter must be within the Transport Area of this cat and must commit (barring dire behavior of the cat) to a minimum of one month. No fees are involved during the trial period. At the three month mark, adopter makes a decision to finalize the adoption ($25 adoption fee) or to return the cat with no ramifications.
Test Drives are offered on certain cats whose past (or current) behavior makes it difficult to know what type of home they will succeed in. Test Drive adopters are expected to work with the foster by feeding back information regarding the cat's personality and behavior during the trial period.

LITTLE VAMPIRE

Look into my eyes....deep into my eyes...you are feeling very smitten... Did it work? Are you hopelessly in love with me yet?

I'm supposed to tell you about myself so first and foremost, I was not named Little Vampire because I want to bite your neck. Although, I do enjoy biting my stuffed toys on the neck and carrying them around my room. I have a slight under bite which emphasizes my upper fangs, and foster mom thinks it makes me look like I have vampire fangs--cute vampire fangs, not scary ones!

Could someone please tell me what a guy has to do to get noticed around here? I've been waiting patiently for my forever home, but I don't really know what else I can do to let you know just what a big, handsome boy I am.

I really am a pretty easy kitty to live with.
*I will choose my favorite place from which to watch you do your thing...if that thing is holding me on your lap.
*Sometimes I'll talk to you.
* I will take your pets and attention when you give it to me.
* I usually just like to lie around and keep things in order.
*I always use the litterbox.
*I keep the other cats off my spaces by hissing loudly at them.
*I ask that you keep my food bowl full, my litterbox cleaned, and my water bowl filled with clean water.

What I don't want is a busy, noisy household that will interrupt my napping. I love classical music, the news, and the local talk shows.

I can coexist with gentle cats who basically ignore me. I'll hiss and grumble as they walk past me but won't confront them. I don't have front claws so can't whack them across the nose if they get in my face. I'm ok with gentle and slower-moving dogs.

So ask mom about me. I like it here but think I'd be even happier in a home where I am the center of the your attention.

Oh where oh where can my forever home be? Oh where oh where can it be? I am so ready to move to my forever home. I went for my vet check today and was a perfect lady for the doc. He said I'm healthy and ready to go.

I don't like dogs, so no doggies, please. I love to rub and head but you, and like to be petted for a bit, too. I'll lay next to you when I want to, but I'll only stay on your lap for a few minutes if you pick me up. It has to be on my terms.

Hi, thank you for asking about me. I am still a little bit shy but love to get attention and I purr as soon as I see the foster pawrents. I love to play and if you toss me a toy when I am on the bed, I try to catch it.

I always look sad in my pictures but I am really not. Foster mom has a hard time getting pictures because I don't like the camera flash. I am a happy girl and I love to play. I especially like the foil streamers. So much fun to chase. I love to snuggle at night and will sleep real close. I love other cats especially the boy cats. I think the girls that live here are not as friendly as the boys. Foster mom will send a picture of me with one of the resident cats so you can see how sweet I am with males.
