We have need for crafters to make a number of handmade items that we can sell at events, and all our meezers go home with their very own crocheted or knitted meezer mat. We can supply materials and patterns.

Not needed at this time, although we are looking to work with shelters (to pull meezers that are in danger and bring them into rescue), in the Atlanta area in the near future. This could expand to shelters in other areas of Georgia as more foster homes become available.

We can never have too many foster homes! Foster homes are needed everywhere in Georgia, especially in the Atlanta area. Fostering is such a rewarding experience, on so many levels, so why not give it a try?

We need transporters in Indiana in the northern and southern parts of the state. While the central part of the state is pretty well covered, drivers near the OH and IL lines would also be very helpful.

Until we have more fosters, particularly in the northern and southern parts of the state, we will not need more evaluators.
Fosters
Our biggest need in this state is more fosters. We are currently fostering 5 - 10 animals at any given time in two foster homes (one in Indianapolis and another in Bloomington) and would like to be able to at least double that number in the near future. Foster homes in any area of the state would be helpful, again most specifically in the southern and northern parts of the state. As we increase the number of foster homes, we will then need to increase the number of Intake Evaluators.
Crafters
We certainly can use the help of any volunteer who has craft skills of any kind. We have a number of handmade items that we like to sell at the events where we have a booth. We can also use help at these events (cat and craft shows) in selling items and talking about VASR. Maryland

Enjoy the rewards of helping save homeless Siamese and Siamese Mixes as well as assisting in placing them in approved furrever homes where they can be loved, kept safe/secure and live out happy lives.
Siamese Rescue will provide extensive training by a team of volunteers who understand that without fosters, we cannot save lives. You will need a computer with daily access to email as well as internet service for our on-line MOMS computerized system. A digital camera is necessary to upload photos of your foster cats into our system. You must be attentive to detail on paperwork as well as possess the ability to respond via email to approved applicants asking about cats you are fostering.

Meezer Express Drivers needed anywhere in Ohio. Particular need is in Western Ohio and along I-70 through Columbus as well as I-71 to I-76 to Pennsylvania. You drive as little or as often as you want! Once you sign up, you become part of the email list for Ohio that receives notification when a kitty is moving through your area. If you are available - great! Just respond to the email and say "I'm in!". If not, you can just pass. It's that easy! Most legs are from 1 to 2 hours one way and are always on Saturdays and Sundays.

FOSTERS NEEDED anywhere in Ohio! Without our fosters, we just can't do it. We need you! If you have an empty room that needs to be filled with someone who needs you, can provide care, food, kitty litter, toys and love, we want you! All pre-approved veterinary care is reimbursed and some medical supplies provided. You must have regular, daily internet access to email and be able to use our on-line computerized system as well as own a digital camera to keep the kitty pictures up-to-date on the website. Training, direction, and mentoring provided as well as access to all of our fosters - both experienced and new for guidance and support. You will be part of the team that helps each kitty you foster find a new good home!

Come join the Sewing Bee team. Once a month get togethers with terrific pot luck lunches, lots of fun with other Siamese lovers. Don't even need to be a seamstress! Sewing Bee takes place in Northern VA but there is a possibility of carpooling depending on where you are coming from.Virginia Center
