Teresa Rider

Teresa lives in the north Florida "swamp" with hubby Buck, son Sean, woofer Katie Beth and several perfectly wonderful felines. She discovered the rescue gallery when she retired from the Navy and started surfing the internet, next was SICC, and then officially started volunteering in 2001. She works fulltime as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and in her off-time she enjoys living out in the country in the peace and quiet and spending time with her family including the fur.

Carole Sime

Carole lives in Florida and is "Mom" to five cats (including a lynx
point and snowshoe meezer mix.) She's worked the past 14 years as
Publication Designer/Art Director for special interest magazines, and
as a web site designer.

Deborah is a registered nurse in the cardiac cath lab at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She currently shares her home with 2 rescued meezers, male seal point cat "Stevens" and female lynx point "Carly". She has been involved with Siamese Rescue since 2003.

Deb Marr

Deb lives in Central MD with her partner Steve and furkids, Meezer VA#1387 and Tinker VA#1464. Since first volunteering with Siamese Rescue in 2002, she has interviewed, transported and done intake evaluations. Debbie works as a senior underwriter for MetLife Auto & Home.

Joyce Fuhrman

Joyce began her association with Siamese Rescue after adopting a pair of 12-yr old bonded sisters from SCRC in 2003. She and her hubby Gene are currently owned by 9 cats including 7 meezers (5 adopted) and 2 dsh strays that had the good luck to wind up outside their Western Maryland home. Joyce has had meezers in her life for over 40 years and works as a Financial Systems Analyst to help support their feline habit.

Currently residing in NC, Nancy started volunteer for SRC in December of 2000, back when Siri was setting up for DOL all by herself!! She has been an adopter, foster, interviewer, transport coordinator, state coordinator and board member. Her house is run by 8 cats and various fosters.

Emily Davidson-Begosh (SC)

Emily lives in Longs, SC, just outside N Myrtle Beach, with her
husband Phil. Introduced to meezers when she was 6 years old,
she has continuously had them in her life ever since. Emily
adopted her first meezer, Kammi, from VASRC in March 2001,
after her 17 and 1/2 year old Blue Point, Baby, died of cancer.
Emily is now an interviewer, Regional Coordinator, transporter
and co-director of transport for the SE. She and Phil now
have three meezers, having adopted Candy and Noah too, and
one DSH, Max.

Jackie Pritchard

Jackie lives in her hometown "The Magic City" Barberton, Ohio with husband John who is a teacher. She is employed as the Customer Data Base Manager for a local charity in Akron, and has been there since 1983. She has two meezers, Melbourne and Adelaide, as well as a rescued stray - a tripod black cat named Henry.

Cher lives in Pickerington, Ohio, with her husband Gene. Both are employed by insurance companies in Columbus (rivals!) and both are still with their first employers! They have recently become grandparents to a beautiful girl and are enjoying spoiling her! Cher became involved with rescue when she adopted Ivy, VA12xx. She started doing transports and then added interviewing, closely followed with Intake Evaluation, some crafting and helping at shows.

Melanie Daugherty (East)

Melanie lives with her husband, Brian (amazing foster dad), and 7 furchildren (all rescues, 1 Meezer) in Knoxville, TN. She was never owned by a Siamese Cat until she began working with Siamese Rescue in 2003 but had been helping stray cats since the age of 8. She works as a project manager for a national healthcare company. In her free time, she enjoys crochet, spending time with her extended family, and long weekends in the mountains.

Linda loves to drive cats to their new homes and sometimes flies with them as well since her paying job often takes her to the eastern half of the US. Linda lives in Memphis, TN and has one Geezer Meezer and two DSH cats.

Pat is a legal assistant, and has been a volunteer with Siamese Rescue
since December 1999. Interviewer, transporter, foster and
litter box scooper. Owned by 4 cats, all rescues: Cinnamon
(DSH), TaiChi, Perla and Tange (meezers).

Deb Chaison

Deb lives in Central VA where she can easily get up to the Center to help out in a pinch. She has been Interviewing and doing various other tasks (currently President) to help see the cats safely out of shelters and into new homes for about 3 yrs now. When she's not *working* for Siamese Rescue, she is a locomotive engineer for Amtrak or can be found enjoying her own three cats and horses.
