Siri left teaching
hearing impaired students to work with rescued meezers in the spring
of 1998, after looking for a meezer to rescue herself (and finding Duke
through the Kansas Rescue Center). Now rescuing full time, Siri and
Darrell live at the Rescue with her 18 year old daughter, Nicole, 4
dogs, multiple meezer/geezers as permanent residents at any one time.

Webmeezer; VP; CFO; BPS; TLA designer
"Ignore the man behind the Curtain" Darrell started the SICC (Siamese Internet Cat Club) in 1996 and added the Siamese Rescue site a year and a half later. Retired now and working full time for SCRC and Siri's main squeeze.

Deb Chaison President; VA Regional Coordinator; Interviewer Lead
Deb lives in Central VA where she can easily get up to the Center to help out in a pinch. She has been Interviewing and doing various other tasks to help see the cats safely out of shelters and into new homes for about 3 yrs now. When she's not *working* for Siamese Rescue, she is a locomotive engineer for Amtrak or can be found enjoying her own three cats and horses.

Kim Lowe

Kim has been a
past President, current Board member, and a Supervisor and Volunteer
Coordinator for 21 years in Public Libraries.
Fur mommmy to four felines, one dog, and foster mom for homeless meezers.

Chris Calvert
Rehoming Up Coordinator
Chris met her first Siamese Kid when he popped through an open window to say hello and subsequently adopted the family many years ago. Husband John and she since have adopted SCRC's Lila (formerly Kiki from NYC), Samson (from Pittsburgh), and currently share their home in Alexandria, VA with owner giveups Gizmo (from Pittsburgh) and Iris (from Ohio). Chris serves on the Board of Directors, as Owner Give-up Coordinator, Kennel Supervisor and occasional Interviewer. In her spare time, she works at the U.S. Department of Justice and enjoys being Nana.

Elizabeth Mustakos
Secretary
Beth is a legal secretary who became involved with Virginia Siamese Rescue
in October 2000. She likes to volunteer in several capacities: kennel
maintenance supervisor, Meezer Express driver, show booth helper and
coordinator, and helping out at Open Houses. She fosters one Siamese cat
at a time in a spare bedroom, and is successfully able to part with her
fostered cats only because she lives with 19-year-old Misty, a beloved DSH
who insists on being only cat

Nancy Blacker
NC Regional Coordinator; Foster; Transporter
Currently residing in NC, Nancy started volunteer for SRC in December of 2000, back when Siri was setting up for DOL all by herself!! She has been an adopter, foster, interviewer, transport coordinator, state coordinator and board member. Her house is run by 8 cats and various fosters.

Susan Rego
NC regional coordinator; Volunteer Liason; Transporter Lead Susan lives with husband, Andy, and 2-year-old sealpoint rescue baby, Maggie O, but building a new home in the western Carolina mountains. Andy introduced Susan to her first meezer, Tasha, in 1973. She was instantly hooked for life!

Kathy Marcheselli Interviewer Lead
Recently moving from VA to NC, Kathy adopted from Siamese Rescue in 2000 and began volunteering in 2002 as an Interviewer. In addition to interviewing, Kathy is one of the Lead Interviewers and trains new Interviewers. When Kathy lived in VA she would help out at the Center. She also helps with transports and is an Intake Evaluator and helps out at events and where ever else she can. Kathy lives with her husband Mike and kitties Sparkle and Iris. In her spare time, she works for CDWG as a Program Manager.
