LIZZIE
Foster Meowm keeps telling me that my furever home is out there somewhere but I'm not sure I believe her anymore. What's an older gal to do ? I can't help it that I'm no longer young or that I'm diabetic and don't like other cats to get in my face or chase me, but come on, get real ! How many of you (or someone in your family) have developed diabetes or other medical problems as you've gotten older and how many of you would want youngsters (in my case, feline) around ALL the time ? Be honest ! Don't you enjoy your peace and quiet too ?
Yes, I know that little kittens are cute and cuddly and everyone loves them - but they also rip and tear through the house, knock things off tables, climb the curtains and yes, they grow up to be adults and eventually develop medical problems too. And with a kitten, you don't know what their true purrsonality really is. With me, you can know pretty much just what you're getting if you hit that Ask About Me button.
I just want a home of my very own with my own family to love and love me. That's not asking for too much, is it ?

Lizzie is diabetic and it's currently controlled with insulin injections and at times, it's been controlled by diet alone.
Lizzie would prefer to be an only cat but can co-exist with another laidback furry companion who will respect her space and let her live her life in peace.
A wonderful and affectionate cat. Although she's not a lap hog, she'll lay beside you, on the arm of your chair or within easy reach and you'll never lack for company.
She requires a non-smoking home. |

Hello - will you be mine? I am so ready to go home!
Great things about me - chatty, affectionate, get along with other laid back cats and dogs, great supervisor of people, don't jump up on things, great listener, eyes that will melt your heart, never met a person I didn't like, and lots more!
Needs - all wet food diet with a very inexpensive medicine (which I lap right off the top of my food like an ice cream topping).
I've had blood work and my numbers are great! My teeth have been cleaned and are pearly white!

As you can see here, I have a lovely mouth. Yes, I have a little problem with stomatitis. That's a chronic condition of my mouth. But just a tiny dose of liquid steroids every day keeps me healthy. I'm playful, I'm loving, and I love sleeping on the bed. I even have a trick of being able to open doors when I can reach the doorknobs. I'm not a talker, but I like hangin' out with you.

I'm a special girl looking for a special home. I have some eye problems and they will be with me for a lifetime. They really aren't that bothersome to me but I do look a bit funny. Foster Meowm says if you're really considering making a commitment to me that you should be close enough to come visit first. You see I went home sight unseen once and things did not work out very well. Despite my small physical challenge I am a friendly and very loving young lady. I purr really well, I love to play, and my Foster Meowm says I'm a really good bed kitty too! Engage me with a laser light or feather toy and I'll be yours for hours. I love other kitties too but because of my eye issues they should not be at all immune compromised.
