I have had Tigerpaws for over 4 years now, and he continues to be the happiest pet I could imagine. He has an amazing sense of humor and sense of fun and constantly surprises me with new antics. Just when I think he's tried everything, he tries something new to entertain me!

JULIET
Hi there:)
My name is Juliet. I was turned in to the shelter with my 8 babies a couple of weeks ago. Can you imagine - 8 babies to take care of? Why, I am just a baby myself! I was a good mom though, and made sure my babies were sweet and healthy, and guess what? They all got adopted! I was left in the shelter all alone:( I was sad and scared.
The nice ladies at the shelter called foster mom because I am Siamese. Foster mom came to see me and said I was going to Siamese Rescue:) Foster mom also told me she was going to make sure I did not have any more babies because after all, 8 is enough!!
I am here at foster mom's house recovering from my surgery. I have plenty to eat, a soft bed, and lots of toys! I haven't met the other kitties here yet but foster mom says I will soon. I like it here but what I really need is a home of my very own. I am tiny - just over 6 lbs. - so I won't take up much room.

The moment I saw Juliet I fell in love with her. She is sweet, playful, and naughty:) Juliet is the perfect playmate for Woodley - they were buddies the moment she was integrated into the house. Juliet and Woodley race, and chase, and play, and groom each other. I have no doubt they will be snuggle buddies very soon. My husband and I just adore our little girl, Juliet:)

I'm a petite gal who was a stray, got pregnant, had kittens, lost the kittens, had a foster home, lost the foster home, went to the shelter, came to Rescue, now need an infected tooth root removed, gee, does it ever get any better? Given all of that I'm still outgoing, curious, vocal, busy and active, for a petite gal of 5+ pounds, and as such, would like a home where I get lots of attention, I'm preferably the only feline, (I'm not that keen on dogs either), and I'll be a very interactive, curious, loving, busy involved gal in that situation!

August 15, 2010- Our sweet little Luna girl has been with us for an entire year now!!! Time flies when you're having fun! All is well and I just wanted to say another "THANKS!" to SCRC for bringing Luna into our lives! I can't even begin to imagine life without her! Feel free to check out some photo updates of her!

SHYLO
A cat-cat, I'm not too sure about people, so I need to go into a home where I can have kitty buddies to be with, but I'm not expected to be super people friendly. Oh sure, I might get there if you can invest a lot of one on one time, ( and lots of freeze dried chicken treats) but I just haven't had the early life experiences on which to base a trust of humans. I've been vetted and am all ready to go; I have a little touch of snortly breathing that may be a mild asthmatic issue, but it's not affecting my love of life (and my ability to run fast if I need to :) My purrfect home would be a quieter people one but a playful cat one without expectations by either species that I will slot into specific expectations, and with that attitude, I could very well be the diamond in the rough!

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to update you on Shylo. He is doing well, I took him to the vet today for an exam and nail trim. He behaved very well when they trimmed his nails and did his exam. The Vet says he appears to be in good health. He doesn't have breathing problems anymore except today he did because he got stressed when he had to get in the carrier. He was breathing heavy again thru his mouth but this is the only time in a long time. He lets my husband and I pet him all the time. He even sat in my lap today at the Vets office. He doesn't seem to be to crazy about my cat Morris though, he always jumps on him every time he sees him so I just keep them apart, Morris stays on the patio when Shylo is in the front room and when Morris is in the front room he stays in the bedroom. Thanks for everything you did to make it possbile for him to be here we love him and are very happy to have him. Judy and Michael.
May 29th, Just wanted to let everyone know Shylo is really doing great he follows me around everywhere I go. Tonight he laid down and let my husband and I pet him at the same time for over 15 minutes. Lots of energy runs around the house for hours chasing mice and loves to play with the snake toy. He has really come along well. Thanks again for everything....
15 August I Just wanted to let everyone know how well shylo has done since he came to live with us.
He is a very happy cat now, he follows us around like a puppy, everywhere we go. He is so playful spends most of his time jumping through the air, running and playing with his toys...Thanks again for giving him to us...I enclosed a new picture..Judy Burns

Hello, my name is Chou Chou. I am unique, happy, easy going and very affectionate. Problems get me down? NEVER! I am a total optimist and roll with the punches well. I have only one eye? Well, I really haven't noticed and can't imagine why you would! My new place at Meezer Castle is warm and cozy and complete with my own bed companion but I know that it is only temporary. Chou Chou is doing great. Chou has found her favorite spots in the sun and in front of the heat vents. Chou is happy and has adjusted well to her new home. My beautiful girl loves to sleep next to me and sometimes on top of me. Chou has been the greatest addition to our home. We love her so much.
6 month update0 8/15/2010 - Chou Chou is the most wonderful cat. Chou has had no problems adjusting to her new home and is my constant companion. Chou loves to talk to me and has been very upset because it has been too hot to open the windows (one of her favorite spots). I have had such joy with my new friend and love her dearly!

DUGAN
From day one, my foster mom could see that I am definitely a lap cat. I love to be near you and would sit in your lap as long as you will let me. I have a short tail, which makes me unique, don't you think? I am very solid and muscular, but melt like a marshmallow when you pet me and let me flex my big feet in your lap. I get along very well with other cats, both male and female, and enjoy chasing them throughout the house. I have a very mellow disposition, eat well, and use a scratching post faithfully.
I would be very happy to be your only companion, or a buddy to another, non aggressive cat.

Dugan has been in his forever home for a week now. He is doing really well. He is a super loving, happy little guy. He has been busy this week exploring the house. He loves all the big windows and running up and down the steps. He also loves snuggling with Mom. He has started playing with his toys in the last couple of days.
I would like to thank all the volunteers, and especially Sandra, for sharing this sweet little guy with me. We're looking forward to many happy years!
