BUTTERCUP
Here is the scoop. If you are looking for a cat that sits in the sun and bathes itself than I am not the cat for you. If you are looking for a fun loving tail wagging in your face attention seeking cat than I should be your choice.

OK I am not a seal point Diva but I am one of the sweetest you will find. Just ask about me and foster mom will give you all my information.

UPDATE:Hi everyone, I want to know why I am still here. I think I am special, fun loving, full of energy, playful, and loving. Why haven't you seen that? Ok I will be waiting.

Notes from Home
Buttercup is adapting extremely well to life here with me. She's amazing! Seriously, I couldn't ask for a better cat. She's my shadow, which I love, and freely shows her love and affection. She lives for play-time and makes me laugh out loud frequently (especially in the mornings when she really gets wild!). She wags her tail all the time (like a dog) and it's so cute. My vet could not get over how friendly (and healthy) she is. Plus, she's so different looking that people just marvel at her. She is my little dream kitty! We have easily bonded and I know we'll be best buds for life! Thanks Siamese Rescue!

GIN
Just arrived. More information soon.
my brother Tonic and I were born to a stray mom, rescued by a nice family. We are littermates to
Stratford and Avon, and like them we are very sweet little kittens, chatty, outgoing and friendly.
Notes from Home
Ginny is doing very well and settling into her new home. We all love her and her silly kitten behavior. Scooter, my older siamese, is really enjoying the company and even plays chase with her from time to time. Ginny has been a great addition to our family; we are so glad to have found her (with your help that is!)

KARENA
Yo! Need a talkative lap warmer? I'll be your constant companion, your shadow, your cat assistant, your FRIEND!

I was abandoned in a vacant house and had a rough patch there for a while. Now I like for you to watch me eat and encourage me. I'll tell you all about my day, and you can tell me about yours. I'll help you sort paperwork, knit, watch TV, whatever you'd like. I just want to hang out.

Notes from Home
I renamed "Karena". She immediately became "Angel".
We recently had our first anniversary together. Angel took me through a very difficult year - I knew I would need her comfort since my husband was very ill. As it turned out, Charlie passed away 7/7/09 and my little girl was there for remarkable support. I am packing to move and and downsize since it is just the two of us now. She is enjoying all the excitement and movement as each closet is exposed and reviewed-piles of clothes to sit on and new nooks and crannies to explore. We had a very busy weekend working on these closets and today she is exhausted. She struggled to stay awake Saturday and Sunday to not miss anything and today is sound asleep.
I love this girl more than words can say and she has been my best support during this difficult time.

KEVIN KITTY
Definition of CUTE
Cute as a button - Are buttons cute?
Cute as a bugs bow - Bugs have bows?
Cute as a pigs ear - who could compare me to a pigs ear?
Cute as a bubble - I am getting a round tummy on all this chow
Cute as can be - That is correct!
Cute as a smile - I do make everyone smile
Cute as a cupcake - I am very yummy
Cute as a Gucci bag - Foster mom put that one in because I can fit in one and she wants one.
Cutie pie - Everyone says so when they meet me
Cute as a kitten -- FINALLY thats me!! The cutest kitten ever! Did I mention sweet brave & full of purrs.

Can I be your definition of cute?? Ask about me soon.
I am almost ready to go home I have grown up a lot. But I will still fit into that CUTE category!
P.S. Mom Will post new pictures of me soon. I am bigger now!
Notes from Home
Kevin Kitty stole our hearts from the first moment we saw him. He is adorable. He loves to cuddle and give head butts. He was a little cautious the first few hours when we got home, but not after that. We have not had any issues with his food, litter box, or anything! He is the perfect little gentleman. He loves to sleep in - in the mornings till around 8:00, and then it is time for breakfast. He loves to play and play and play. He has a mink tail that his foster mom gave him that he adores!!!! He carries that tail around with him everywhere he goes. It is so cute. He also loves his wand toy from his foster mom. If I leave and come back home he greets me with a lot of purrs, and some rubs, and then it is time to play with his wand toy. He has a cat condo that he LIVES in, but he will politely get down when you come into the room and go and stand beside his wand toy as if to say....come on entertain me! He sleeps with me at night, and I love it. He does not like to sit on your lap, but will lay down beside you. I couldn't ask for a better kitten. He is the best. He will be getting a little sister kitty named Paris in about a week.
Thank you siamese rescue center for changing our lives forever. Thank you to foster mom, Shirley and Marjorie for all that you did for Kevin.

LUCY
A little time, a little patience, and a soft touch and I promise to sleep with you every night and love you to the ends of the earth! I've had some scary experiences in the past but that doesn't stop my faith in the human race from shining through, I just KNOW it will be alright! Will you be the one to make it so?

Notes from Home
Lucy is doing great. She has relaxed alot. Still skittish and new situations make her nervous. She lets out a little mew when she's nervous (like the first time she crossed over Bob's big feet on the bed) but we talk to her and encourage her, and she'll usually screw up her courage and try things out. We still only get lovies on the bed, but boy does she love lovies on the bed! When we come home in the evening, Brother Butter greets us at the door. But Lucy waits till we go to change clothes and then she jumps on the bed for her hello.

Bad habits??? What bad habits? She has PERFECT manners. No scratching on the sofa, no jumping on the dinner table or countertop (unlike Butter!). Impecable litter box skills.

She has bonded to me. BONDED. Follows me around from room to room. Can't touch her (since she's not on the bed!!), but she's in the room with me. Comes looking for me if I dissappear for a bit. Bob and I both love her so much.

Bev

VIVIAN
Just arrived. More information soon.
Notes from Home
Vivienne (Vivi) has adapted well to us and to our home. We're not sure where she spends the night, sometimes she's at the foot of our bed - could be anywhere. Her bathroom habits are fastidious - she expects (and gets!) her meals first thing in the morning and at 6 PM. She plays with various toys - her favorites are paper clips (which I now hide!) and a white electric outlet cover which makes a wonderful sound! She has several balls she plays soccer with. We've just bought her the circular toy that has the scratcher in the middle, surrounded by the moat with a ball that she bats around and around. Sometimes she lifts the ball out and plays soccer through the house so that we have to hunt for it! She's very clever!! Vivi is a very sweet, friendly kitty - she speaks in "chirps" - so cute! And not too often. She's gained weight even though we restrict her to 1/3 cup dry food 2x/day. She loves to sit on the porch and listen to the sounds and watch the wildlife. Several times a day she will have her madness fit and streak like a mad woman through the house! I put it down to extreme exercise! She loves to sit on my lap at night while we all watch TV - She does have the sweetest disposition and we love her a lot! My little grandsons have suggested (when they were going to get a new kitty) that I give them Vivi and then get another for us. Ha ha! She was so gentle with them - curious and friendly. She follows our house keeper around the house and helps with the cleaning - totally unphased by the dust buster or the vacuum cleaner! She still sometimes is skittish at sudden movement or noise - probably a carryover from her earlier life. Interestingly enough she does not seem the least interest in going outside. I'm so gl ad we have her - she's a delight - I talk to her all the time!

Notes from Home
Mina is now named Mika, and little miss fearless is as rowdy as Rinn told us! She attempts to climb walls, she gets into everything...and then she purrs loudly and cuddles.

Mika is working on making friends with Pete, who seems a little distrustful of other cats right now. He's getting better with the little one. Our dog thinks Mika is great fun to play with, and our grumpy black cat is actually pretty accepting of Mika.

Mika is delightful, fun, and brings a lot of laughter with her!

9/29: Mika is curious, playful, quick and funny. She adores Pete; one of her favorite things to do is to go racing up to him, jump on him, and make him wrestle with her. We are so happy that Mika and Pete are part of our family!

CALYPSO
Can I help you? Yes, I am regally gorgeous, yes, I am descended from royalty, yes, I am highly intelligent, and yes, I am a superb Meezer. Being a bit on the nozzle-nose side, I do have my dental issues, and will need some additional dental work over the next few years, but for now it's all taken care of and I'm looking for a home that needs someone to supervise everything under the roof! (Dog curious)
Notes from Home
Calypso became CARINA (I realize it is a bit vain). She is doing well and has integrated well with Dillinger, but of course still thinks she is far better. A stool sample discovered a parasite, but she (and DILLINGER) will be done with the antibiotics soon. I have a dental rinse for her, as well. (See Dillinger's entry for a funny story about them from yesterday).

I will be sending out Announcements to family & friends (much like a Baby Announcement) that extols the virtures of CARINA and DILLINGER. I will be sending one to Siamese Rescue, as well. I will upload pictures from home tonight because my work computer is blocking my upload

October 2009 - Carina is now allowing Dilinger to sleep on the bed at nights! Of course, there are conditions - my body has to serve as an island between them (Carina to my left, Dillinger to my right) and only Carina is allowed under the covers with me...unless we can sneak him under the covers after she has drifted off to sleep.

I was cooking late Friday night for a dinner party and was pleased and surprised to find them both lying at my feet in the kitchen playfully flittering their paws together...needless to say the little spats crop up every now and then, but it does get better and better between them every day.

I see them in my bay window when I come home at night with Dillinger sometimes trying to hide part of himself behind the curtain - as if I won't see him. I can now even have them both each together on teh kitchen floor instead of having Carina eat on the counter.

JOEY
7/7/09 - UPDATE UPDATE READ ALL ABOUT IT!
I'm not a girl after all! I'm a really nice guy!!!! Foster Mom took me in for my exam today and boy was she surprised! It's amazing I'm still so sweet because I was walking around with a 22 caliber bullet under my right front leg but the doctor took it out. Foster mom still has it if you don't believe me! I also limp on my back right leg. Know why? It was broken by another gun shot wound but it was a long time ago and it's all healed but it healed a little crooked so that's why I limp. It doesn't hurt or keep me down or anything like that. It just makes me more charming. So, if you weren't asking about me because you thought I was a girl, ask about me now if you're looking for a really great guy!

7/3/09 I just arrived after being sprung from a few days in the shelter. I was wandering around the streets and got busted. My past is a mystery to everyone but my future is bright! Even though foster mom doesn't know much about me she does know that I'm a really nice laid back gal. I took my bath and nail trimming like a champ. Check back for more updates as foster mom and dad get to know me but please feel free to ask about me and get on my list and foster mom will keep you updated with all the news about me.

Notes from Home
Joey is now DILLINGER and he is such a sweetheart! He loves spooning...as I do with him. Carina sleeps in between my legs under the covers and as long as she is unawre of his presence on the bed, he will nest himself next to my head and chest. If Carina comes up for air from under the covers and discovers him, he will quickly get down and she will assume the sentry position on the bed.

They take turns chasing each other and yesterday Carina was roosting on the bathtub ledge between the shower curtain and liner. Dillinger got on his hind legs as best he could and forcefully shoved her shadow with his front paws. She flew into the tub. She was physically fine and when I looked in the tub, she had an expression that said, "What the h*** was that sh** about?!" Dillinger has amazingly strong arms...I suspect from when he was healing from his gunshot wound, he was using his upper body and arms entirely.

IVANA
What better name for a diva-in-training could a girl have? I'm quite the cute fluffy young lady. I like to sit high in the room and survey my domain, certain that everyone wants to do my bidding. Oh, I'll grant my person the favor of my attention occasionally, but her purpose is to please me. If you think you have the qualifications to maintain me in the lifestyle that I intend to become accustomed, then ask about me today.

Purrs,
Ivana
Notes from Home
Ivana is in her new home and already doing well, she is active and social. She has found her potty box and food, she is not sure what the dog our Lab is but does not seemed concerned, (he is kenneled at the moment) but she walks past his enclosure and does not seemed phased. The Lab however is whining wanting to play with the new fuzzy thing. Ivana iis chasing her kitty toys and pouncing like crazy...can't wait till we get her new big kitty tree later this week.

Well end of week two and she is really home, we got the right kitty...We love her, and the Lab of course is still confused why she won't play tug of war or chase him back..
