CALLISTA
Sorry I'm still on eval status as I have just arrived at Foster Mummy's house and still unpacking my things and finding my way around.
I have told her that I am very shy at first until you pick me up then I purr. I know I will not be wanting to travel too far away to my forever home. She told me that we might be going to "Adopt Me" status this weekend so that I have a few days to settle in.
Now, where do I hang my purrrrrrse?!?

I could not be happier with Callista. She is my non diva, snuggle bunny, companion and office helper! She will help clear my desk of papers and any pens and at times write highly encrypted emails!!!!
Callista has integrate extremely well with all my other household kitties and dog. She plays exceptionally well with her 1 year old Seal Point female sister. At dinner, if I don't serve her first, she is very, very vocal!! She has gone from a shy and reported feral rescue kitten to a confident lap cat that continuously purrs and will follow me around the house and especially to the kitchen! We are all so very, very happy. Thank you so much for allowing me to adopt my soul kitty.

CHARLIE (COCOA)
Hello, my name is Charlie. It is a puzzle for foster mom to figure out why I was out and about on my own. I must have been on assignment for a special mission but something happened and I could not find my people or my home. I guess I have to have additional training. Thats where the angels stepped in. Yes, Charlies Angels came to the rescue.
I am a young, killer of the feather fisher pole toy, Olympic high jumper, and go with the flow kind of guy.If you know Meezer talk, and enjoy having a buddy to keep you laughing, and warm at night you can apply for the job of one of Charlies angels full time. The list of benefits is impressive.Foster mom looks forward to speaking with you!
Charlie
Update: Hi everyone Ive been on evaluation because I had a reaction to the anesthesia when I had some surgery. Not to worry, I am fine but I was kind of loopy for a while. I am almost back to the fun loving boy kitty I was before. I still love to play with the feather fishing pole toy and am an export catcher. I even have Sam the resident pudgy Meezer boy doing exercise routines with me. I would love to have another kitty to play with but if you are my fur ever human you would have to like to play. That would be okay too! Click on ask about me and foster mom will fill you in on the particulars!
Purrs Charlie

Notes from Home
I has been one year since this little bundle of joy came into our lives! He fit right in from the very start. Our current 5yr kitty had lost his brother who was his lifelong companion and was in desperate need of a new friend. He found that in Charlie and more! He took to Charlie as fast as we did. In no time they were the best of friends, playing and sleeping together. After a year, Charlie has settled in well. He is relaxed and happy and just the most wonderful little guy. He is super friendly, snuggly, chatty and active. He loves his "big brother" and the people in his life. We can't imagine having a home without him! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at Siamese Rescue for all their hard work in bringing everyone together.

A word about wedgie Siamese, in case you've never had one. They are the neediest of cats and are very people-demanding and oriented. They are athletic, can climb high, can leap far, and get into everything. They are very smart, very curious, very busy, very intuitive. They want to be held a lot and loved a lot and they don't want to be ignored, or left alone for long periods of time (such as overnights). They can be very clingy and very needy and require quite an investment of time, and in return they snuggle tight, they follow you everywhere, they do everything with you, they have a comment about everything, and they can be quite intense. They are about as people-cats as you can possibly get.
Please be sure you have the long term time and dedication and desire to have such a needy, clingy, talkative and involved cat. |

Notes from Home
Mei Ling has had her yearly shots and exam. Everything is going great with her.
Mei Ling has adjusted very quickly to our family. She loves her brothers and they all get along fine. She loves to play with her big brother Tigger’s tail. She will grab it and he will flip it and they do this for a little while then they move on. Tigger at first just looked at her like she was crazy but just turned around and does not seem to mind at all. Smokey and Mei Ling love to chase and play. Tigger will sometimes get in on the fun too. Mei Ling’s favorite toy is a little green ball that she LOVES to play catch, this can go on for over an hour is my arm did not get tired. Mei Ling loves her people too and likes to sit or sleep with her new mom. She is a joy to have in our family.

Simon is cute and VERY playful - We are still teaching him hands are not toys. So far Mia and Simon have had a hard time getting to know each other. We have taken it slow but it hasn't seemed to help. But we will keep working on it!

ELVIS FL
I am the ultimate lover boy. No hiding for me. I feel bad that my feline mother is a lttil bit afraid from all the changes but I am so happy that the man at the shelter knew to call Siamese Rescue so we could be "rescued" and given a chance for a new life. I am too friendly and loving to be around here for long. Thanks, Elvis

Notes from Home
Taji (FKA Elvis) was our first Snow-boy. I read about the breed, fell in love with what I read, found the VASRC website, and found Taji, he was a year old. He was being fostered outside of Tampa, FL, and we live in northern Delaware. Jane, his fostermeowm, said we lived too far away, at which point I told her we would come and get him. His mom and two sisters had been given up with him, and we were able to meet his mom, and one sister, the other had already been adopted. Taji was everything Jane said he would be, very loveable, vocal, and likes lots of attention. We brought him home and introduced him to our other 10 kitties, 4 of which are Siamese. He loves to cuddle under the covers with us in bed, loves to be wrapped up in a quilt on the couch, loves to be held & get his rubbies. And if we aren't sitting down when he decides he wants to be loved, he will follow us everywhere, meowing, until we sit down and commence the rubbies-athon. After almost 3 years with our Snow-boy, we decided to get another Snowshoe. We named him Xei (FNA Yatzee) - I'll tell you about him on his page.

What's that? Where? Who? Can I? I want! I need! Where are you? What's inside this? Give me! That's mine! Don't leave! Come back! Who's this? Move over! Make way! Stop that! More! Hey! I'm coming! Look out! Gotta go!!!!! You wanted to talk about me? You had better make an appointment - I AM ONE BUSY GUY WITH AN AGENDA!!!!!! And I'm going to need a playmate (feline or canine) to keep my occupied, unless you have tons of energy and time!

Notes from Home
11.5.09 - JB has been a part of our family for 6 months now, and we are all doing great! We have no problems with JB. He & his step-sister Abby still are not "best friends," but sometimes they are "partners in crime!" And the good news is they don't out-right hate eachother...they just have "different strokes..."
Everyone loves JB; and when I say loves, I mean LOVES. Even me, a disciplinarian by nature, just can't help but hug & give him kisses, even when he's been mischievous! Routines are going very good. He seems very happy, and has stayed healthy. We all had a bit of a sneeze a week or two back, but we're over that now, and even so, it didn't slow him down a bit.
I've updated & added some recent photos of JB - check them out!

JULIETTE
Living out doors in a cage is not necessarily a bad thing except when you have no roof on your head and your upstairs neighbor, (also no roof and no floor) is a poopy rabbit. Major yuck. You can imagine how appreciative and happy I am to be someone safe and sound with nice people, nice food and a roof over my head! I'm one of those ones that doesn't carry grudges, though, so I'm ready to make up with whomever would like me!

VITTO
Silly, goofy, playful, lovable boy looking for same in human of either gender. Must have toys for me to play with and lots of space for me to dash about and run like mad so you can see how athletic and handsome I am. And if you have another kitty like me, that would be okay too!

Notes from Home
Vitto is a love. There is still a little friction between Vitto and Anabell, but it's getting better. Especially when Vitto is able to control his enthusiasm about ANabell and not pounce on her tail for example. They woke me this morning, both of them on top of me. good thing i have 2 hands for rubs...
He is so loving, very playful. is learning lots from his older sister...and she from him. He eats very well, which Anabell never did, but now it seems, with competition, she is a more avid eater! Vitto has his moments when he is too crazy wild, but this usually happens after a day of sleep, while we are gone. He settles down with some slow rubs on his back.
SO all is well. they are learning to work it out I think. And Anabell lets him know when he has crossed the line.

CHI
Is anyone looking for a sweet, loving, beautiful little girl? Well look no further because here I am! I am a very affectionate, playful no issue girl, and am quite the lap Meezer. I like the woofer and the other Meezers that are here. Foster Meowmy keeps telling me about a forever home, but I am still waiting for that special someone to love. Could you be that person? Ask about me and I will fill your life with love and joy!

Notes from Home
Chi had a new brother join her just two weeks ago - she is no longer the "only" cat in the family. She has adjusted well to her new brother, Sergio. At first, she hissed and growled when he got too close, but has accepted him.
We like to call her our "four-legged" alarm as she comes in and wakes us if we happen to sleep in a litle bit. She is also our foot-warmer at night when the weather starts getting a little colder. She may have some compitition now that Sergio is here. He has spent at least one night on our bed and probably will have many more to come since the weather is getting colder.

Notes from Home
It's been six months since we adopted Angus, as we now call him. Brian was to tame a name for such an overpowering personality. He seemed so nonchalant when we adopted him, but, soon we found out he is a power to be wary of. Nothing scares him in the slightest and our snooty princess "Fiona" found in short order that he could not be bossed around. It was hiss, hiss and ignore for several weeks, but, Angus would not be ignored. So, they finally made peace and the fun began. They take turns chasing each other and they are well matched in speed. Of course since girls are more cunning, Fiona, often takes him by surprise by hiding behind something , then the chase always goes up the staircase, into the master bedroom, up some more stairs and onto the bed. Angus is big and a little on the heavy side, which gives Fiona an advantage. Her jumping capacity is far greater than his, so even, if he's right on her tail, she jumps to the highest point and looks down at him with a smirk. We crack up in laughter all the time. We are so blessed to have them in our household with all our thanks going to SCRC, and especially Siri who worked so diligently with us to make it all possible.
